Im 5'5" 230lbs, carry my weight pretty evenly. amazon is recommending a 3x, which seems huge to me. i normally wear xl or 1x. does this seem right?

3x doesn’t seems right to me, I think you can order the normal size for you and if it doesn’t fit you always can send it back. I am 5’6” 137 pounds, I ordered large and it was big, I send it back and got me 4 more but medium. I love them 😍.

Ordered a M and it’s a bit too big, will it shrink in the wash?

Mine have not shrunk with washing/drying on hot.
