They really lock in place but are still easy to release. Flexible to fit in tight places. I've used them several tines now and they get the job done. Came quickly.

The cabling is likely not 12 AWG as claimed as another review has already noted, and more likely 14 AWG stranded copper cabling. The connecting pins on each speakON connector are extremely tiny/small. The speakON connector is probably fine for redundant connections for portability. However, I think I would prefer stripped and tinned 12-14 AWG stranded copper connections on pole/post connectors, for handling maximum wattage/amperage. Shrugs. However, many of the PRO amplifiers appear to feature speakON connectors. PRO Quickly and easily connect speaker cables to units and speaker cabinets, without apparently shorting connectors while the amplifier is turned on. (Yea, I know. Likely a big no-no but had to boost the fact I'm a guy.) CON Questionable adequate connector pin sizes for larger amounts of wattage/amperage.

Just received my order yesterday - on preliminary inspection these cables appear to be well made and I love how "flexible" they are compared to other brands purchased in the past. I will be using these as spares, emergency backups if you will.. So, they will get tested during sound check and then stored in the cable bin and hopefully never be needed but we all know how that goes. I highly recommend everyone have spares of every type of cable just in case. Can't tell you how many times we were so glad that we had a spare cable, whether it be a XLR cable for the mics, or a 1/4" cable for the guitars, or SpeakON cables like these for the mains and monitors, having spares is always a good thing. Keep Rocking Good People! Keep Rocking! Update: 10/17/2019 - have now used these cables during practice and have to say they are very nice. I like that they are more "flexible" than the other cables I own which tend to be stiff and difficult to wrap up and put away when practice is over. So my earlier 5 star rating is good. No troubles to report. They were a good buy.

Nothing to dislike as I'm glad I didn't pay twice as much for my current needs. If I was still doing big time concerts and making big money would I pay for the more expensive ones? Yeah probably because that's the thing to do but that doesn't mean these wouldn't work just as good. Definitely would have as a backup. I'm totally happy with this purchase. I'm using them on a Hartke LX 500 amp with Hartke HD 2x10 500 speakers as that is all I need for now.

These speakon cable work as they should. With this company you two 25 feets long cable for for the price of some company selling one. I plug them in and they right away. So, if you looking to save, this is the way to go. No complain so far. Also the got 100% money grauteed. Check them out.

Anyone complaining about the quality should get their wallet out to spend more. The way I see it they are a good price. I used them to connect pro audio speakers to my home audio amps by removing one send you get a spare set of connectors and yes the wires are not soldered and hooked but you can do that yourself if you are expecting opposing loads on them.

Good set of speak-on cables. Fairly flexible was expecting stiff and plastic like but was surprised. 12-14 ga wire looks good .,.. would buy again.
