4.4mm Balanced TRRRS to TRRS 3.5mm Balanced Adapter, Silver-Plated Copper, Headphone Upgrade (0.5ft)

Good sound, good quality

I bought the 3.5 female to 4.4 male to plug into my DAC for balanced listening. First I want to say I’m not an audiophile. However I am serious about the best sound I can get for my money. Therefore I have better than average DAC/AMP/headphones/IEMs. (Over $1,200 to give an idea) So I’m not an expert but to me this did not degrade the sound at all. The cable adapter seems to be made of quality materials. I would think if handled properly this will last for years but I can say for source as I’ve had it less than a week.

It feels heavy and nicely built but that's about it. There is a clear imbalance and one side sounds hollow. My cable and source works fine fine with other gear. Returning this.

I'm using this with iKKo OH10 IEM's and an iFi Zen V2 hooked up to my MacBook Pro. The Apollo does exactly what I expected. Stupid me kept ordering the wrong sizes but I had no trouble with the returns. The adapter reeks of quality and the sound I get is ideal. You can't go wrong with this adapter.

Good fit and finish

This is the correct adapter for the ifi Hip DAC2 (Hi-Res) with the balanced 4.4 mm output; otherwise, static will be unavoidable through cans. Don't make the mistake of using regular 3.5 mm "adapter."

2 stars for construction, this feels very solid and looks great. However, not only are the left & right stereo channels swapped, but something is happening with the center channel... either there's some sort of phasing issue being introduced somehow, or the center channel is being pushed out to both the left & right channels "separately". I've never heard anything like it. In songs that have a narrow stereo field for some/all of it, it still comes across as if the stereo field is "wide" and center-channel audio is displaced somehow. There may be some sort of a delay between the left & right channels or something? It's truly bizarre. I'm using the adapter with a known-good cable, and am testing against another known-good cable. The issue is definitely there and impossible to ignore. I've reached out to Geekria support, we'll see what happens. Sorely disappointed.

very well made and certainly gives another dimension to the audio and seems to allow an increases in the volme.

This a great choice to access home stereo 6.35mm amp with balanced headphones 4.4mm. Theses have a great feel of quality. From the wieght to the way it connects to other cables. Any audiophile will want this product.

Geekria Apollo 4N OCC and Single-Crystal Silver Upgrade Cable/ 4.4MM Balanced Male to 2.5MM After the first two months, the left side now drops out. If I fiddle with it it connects again. I will not use it any more as I am afraid of it shorting and damaging my DAP. Geekria: Is it too late for a refund or exchange?

Fx-audioのDACのヘッドホン出力が6.3mmなので、4.4mmイヤホンを接続する目的で購入。手持ちのイヤホン数種を繋いで聴いているが、各イヤホンの特徴も聴き分けられ目的が達成できて満足。製品のケーブル部分もオーディオ心をくすぐる仕様で品質は良い。使用目的に合致するなら購入しても損はないと思います。
