Great hair straightener with an adjustable heat setting which is important if you don't want to use high heat on your strands. I bought this for my teen daughter as her first hair straightener and she finds it very easy to use. It feels well made with durable, strong material.

I have used this make of hair straighteners for many years and always found them useful. This new set are even better with a choice of settings so they do not damage your hair.

Great product, just as good as the more expensive brand! However, received the item via courier today, but without even being packed up in anything to keep it clean and intact! Just spent time and patience peeling off an address label which had been slapped over most of the product box, and without tearing anything!! But otherwise, happy with straighteners 👌

These were poorly packaged and the box open at one end. Looked like they had fallen out of the box in transit as they weren’t put back in properly wrapped. No tape to fasten the box closed and in the original box so it was damaged. Performance wise, they are great straighteners and work well on my frizz prone fine hair better than other straighteners. The rating is lower because of the packaging and care not taken. I could have bought display model from a shop in better condition.

I had my faithful first generation GHDs for around 16 years. But I literally used them to death. When they stopped working I bought another pair of GHDs from GHD directly. However, these weren’t a patch on my first ones. The plates kept catching in my hair and pulling one or two hairs out each time I used them. And they didn’t seem to get as hot as my first pair. After straightening as soon as I left the house my hair would frizz up immediately and just looked like a bouffant mess. I sent them back. I tried my friend’s Cloud 9 but I didn’t like how hot the outsides got.These Babyliss straighteners had been recommended by Guardian beauty journalist Sali Hughes and they were cheap so I got these to tide me over while I searched for a long term solution. But these are amazing! My hair has never looked so straight or glossy. I actually prefer them to my first GHDs (which were around £100 back in 2005).I had worried that the wide plates might be a bit unwieldy and difficult to get close to the roots but the plates don’t actually look or feel that wide and function just the same as a standard width straightener. I’d totally recommend these!
