It is what it is.
This is a good quality nap mat. My kids have only had 2 other types of nap mats. Like the others, this one holds up to many washings. Don't forget to take the pillow out when washing--it is easy to replace though if it gets flattened with time or washed accidentally. The things I like about this mat over the others is that the colors don't fade and the fabric doesn't ball up. This is not for overnight camp outs--you need a real sleeping bag for that. It doesn't have much padding but neither do most other nap mats I've seen. Unless you're getting one of those memory foam mats, any nap mat you buy will not be padded enough for a floor--which is why most day care facilities have started using cots for the kids to lay their nap mats on. I used to work in early childcare and I've seen tons of nap mats. I know what teachers like in them. If they are too bulky and don't roll up nicely, they are annoying. This nap mat is so easy to roll up and put away. I know from being a mom, to tote the mat back and forth to and from the daycare, you want something that rolls up easily and is easy to manage with a diaperbag and a wiggly toddler....I mean, who wants to let go of your kids hand because you have to pick up a bulky nap mat you dropped in a puddle in the middle of a rain storm while juggling and umbrella, toddler, nap mat, lunch box, diaper bag, and purse? Not me for sure. Save yourself and your child's teachers some sanity--buy this mat. Plus, it's way cheaper than those ridiculous bulky Stephen Joseph and Wildkin mats.

Great value
We bought this for our preschool-aged daughter to use at nap time at school. This is the second nap mat we've purchased from Baby Boom; the first was for our son when he was a preschooler. So, obviously we've been happy with our purchases from this seller, but I thought I'd take a minute to explain why.First of all, don't expect this to be a standalone nap mat. Think of this more like a pint-sized pillow/blanket combo that's meant to go on top of a foam nap mat (such as those made by Kindermat). This is designed to stow in a small space and be easy to bring back and forth from school to home for washing. The pillow comes out easily, and the nap mats are fully machine washable. The blanket is soft, and my daughter loves the vibrant colors of the owl design. Some are saying that the mat is too short for their tall children. My daughter is very petite for her age, so that hasn't been an issue for us, but if your child is on the tall side you might want take that into consideration. The mats hold up very well. My son's mat is still in great shape after two years of use. We could have easily continued to use it for our daughter, but we figured she deserved to have a design that was different than the dinosaurs our son loved.

MY TODDLER LOVES THIS NAP MAT, ITS SO CUTE AND COMFORTABLE
My daughter loves this nap mat. She nap comfortably in this at her daycare. She is currently 2yr 4mo old, fits perfectly. She loves this nap mat so much that I bought her another one with different print. The mat is not very thick though, but my daughter's daycare has cot for nap, so it doesn't bother us much. But if your kids' school does not have a cot and use the floor for nap, better buy one that has a thick mat.

Perfect for daycare!
Works perfect for my 4 year daughter for her daycare. Pillow is cheaply made and will probably loose its "fluff" after a while, but the material is soft and my daughter loves the owl print. Easy to wash- just remove pillow. Seems pretty durable- I wash it 1x per week and it hasn't faded or ripped. Reccommend for sure!

Fantastic Nap Mat
At first I thought it was pricey but after looking at other nap mat review it proves that you get what you pay for. I ordered this nap mat for my 2yr old who is starting a part time school program and am so pleased with the quality of this product. It's so soft and plush and has vibrant fun colors. My 2yr old loved the mat, and immediately pretended to nap in it. It is also easy to roll up and super easy for her to carry with its attached handle. It also has a clear plastic pocket sleeve to make your own name tag.

perfect for daughter
I purchased this for my four-year-old daughter to take to her grandparents' house along with a toddler cot. She loves the bedding because it is adorable and comfortable. I love that it fits her cot perfectly and that it rolls up and stores easily. I am also happy that my daughter has room to grow in it.

Perfect for daycare
Not very padded so I wouldn't recommend for laying straight on the floor, but my daughter needed one to use with her nap cot at daycare, and this is perfect. The blanket is about as thick as those cheap fleece throws, so it's good for a little bit of covering when the AC is on in the summer, but I'd send an extra blanket if your child gets cold or for winter months.Overall, great buy!

Thin.
Cute, but super thin.Worth the $13 I paid I guess, but wouldn't have willingly paid more.A nap mat or other padding is required to use with this.
