Best shave ever
I'm in love with shaving again because of this razor. I know it's a bit pricey, but this thing is awesome. It's my first straight razor, or technically, shavette. Everyone says it's not for beginners, but I found it really easy to get used to. I did nick myself one time on my first shave, so I do recommend a styptic pen if you're going to try this. But, having said that, I haven't cut myself since then. It's super easy to get the hang of it. I used it to completely chop off a 3 month beard and this thing cut through it like butter. I do not recommend the super professional blades to start. Get the blades that are a couple of steps down and work your way up. I'm on the super pros now and they're by far the sharpest thing I've ever seen. They have no mercy, but it keeps me from getting wicked razor burn. That's why I quit shaving to begin with. But now, I'm back to better than inspection day shaves with no razor burn. Yes, you have to use the artist club blades only, but it's still a great deal when you break it down. I can't find a down side to this thing.

I used to like it, now I love it.
I'm a straight razor user and this is a nice change for shortening my shaving routine and no edge maintenance. Feels good in the hand and I like the weight. I have read that the scales are cheap. Some old popular vintage brand scales feel cheap too, so I see no issue there. I like it a lot and dropping in a new blade when it starts to under perform is just awesome.Update 2/2019: I have now used this razor countless times, and have had countless perfect shaves. I am in love with it. With 4 kids ( 3 teenagers ) and a very busy lifestyle, I think this is the way to go for straight razor shaving. When I start empty nesting, I'll come back to honing and stropping my vintage straights.

The BEST Straight Razor expecially for beginners
What sets this apart, it is light weight and most importantly, the angle at which you have to turn the blade to get a nice cut...very little so it takes the guess work out of the shaver. I have 4 different straight razors and they all are in a drawer. The only part I am uncertain about is the blades as they offer 3-4 different types of blades, I personally went with the ProGuard 15 as they talked about how it is perfect for the home user.

Very nice quality that I use strictly for difficult face shaves.
Great quality, although (personally) the next one I order will be without the plastic guard. Definitely keep the spine of the blade laid flat against the skin! This style of razor is thicker and sharper than other disposables, and the design successfully supports a very smooth shave.

Fantastic quality.
This is great shavett. I have two shavetts and two straight razors. I am relatively new to this type of shaving and I haven't yet gotten good enough to keep my straight razors maintained, so I turned to the Feather. The blades made by Feather are awesome, and the Feather SS is very good. Expensive but in my opinion, worth it.
