Minimal vibration but very EXPENSIVE in comparison to other brands.
Minimal vibration!!! After 20-25 minutes of use my hands weren’t tingly like the two-cycle makes your hands and fingers tingle. Very quiet!!! Very powerful motor and it came with a kwik change trimmer head. Just have to insert precut stringer lines which takes seconds to do. Would of been nice if they’d have sent more stringer line pieces than two, especially for the price of this thing. Overall works very well but pretty pricey.

Excellent brush cutter.
With a chainsaw toothed blade it'll buzz right through large stands of buck brush.

A real honeysuckle slayer
I have a lot of property and bought this for clearing areas heavily overgrown with invasive honeysuckle trees. The included saw blade makes quick work of it and near instantly fells trees up to 1". Bigger stuff requires a more dedicated sawing technique but even 3" trees only take mere seconds to cut through. I find this tool much faster, easier and safer to go about this task than a chainsaw. The brush cutter shaft gives you good reach and the included harness keeps you safely away from the blade while supporting the unit such that you hardly even notice the weight. I decided to give this 4 cycle Honda a try after plenty of frustrating experiences with 2 cycle engines over the years. I have only had it a few weeks now, but so far it has been super easy to start and it is noticeably more quiet, especially when idling.Edit: After 18 months, I am still super happy with this purchase. It always starts right up. I use a 10" 3 tooth star blade for heavy weed whacking and that blade swipes right through saplings up to almost an inch in diameter. I can go all the way around my pond, which takes over an hour and doesn't even use a full tank of gas. This is definitely a quality piece of equipment that is worthy of hours of continuous heavy duty use without issue. A vast improvement over my previous consumer grade weed eaters that I regularly broke or overheated from pushing them too hard.

67 yo woman here
I have to cut down wild black berry and raspberry brambles from my pasture fence line or the winter snow would take the fence down. Years ago I used a chain saw to do this and sweated bullets, literally. Then rented a stihl similar to this trimmer but the rental price caused me to do the entire fence line in a 4 hr. period and I can't do that anymore.I recently purchased this trimmer, it's lighter wt. than the stihl and after putting it together, by myself I might add, was super easy to start. Has been easy to start every time and I've used it approx. 5-6 times so far. The brambles were super big by the time I got my courage to put this together and start it up. This baby knocked them out easily! The shaft is long enough that I, with my long sleeves and chain saw cutting helmet on only got the brambles caught on me a couple of times. I have approx. 4 acres fenced in that I have to do this too.The instructions were GREAT. They include tips and tricks which I appreciated as I'm not inclined to mechanical stuff. I kinda like using it. I cut down tree saplings that were growing too close to the house with it, easily.

Great purchase so far—money saver in the long run
I have 9 acres of mostly Bradford pear saplings and thorn bushes. I’ve used this trimmer with a 9” brush blade with chainsaw like teeth from Forester and it’s been great. Starts up with 1-2 pulls as long as I remember to put it in the on position. Smooth, strong, and runs on unmixed gas. I use premium just as a precaution with small engines. The harness is comfortable. The assembly is simple. As long as it lasts, I will buy more Honda small engines. Incredibly happy with it. And tho it wasn’t cheap, it’s much cheaper than a tractor. The amount of good reviews is a big reason why I purchased this. If anything goes wrong, I’ll be sure to update the review.Edit: The Forester blade, despite all its fine reviews, did not last long. The blade that came with the trimmer is at least as good, if not better. I’ve gotten thru all the saplings and most the thorn brushes. Still very happy with the trimmer

Great brush cutter!
This is a replacement for a 2 cycle unit and I am glad that I made the switch. Less noise, less vibration and more torque. Have not and will not be using the string trimmer attachment. I got it just for the brush clearing blade. The supplied blade is okay for light and small brush so I got a heavier brush blade by Forester with chainsaw teeth and man does it work. Really like not having to mix the gas and oil, just regular gas. Tank lasts about 80-90 minutes. The harness takes some adjustments to get it right and forget about using the ‘Quick connect’ system. Almost impossible to re-attach after disconnecting while wearing the harness. That’s the only complaint I have with this unit and still gave it 5 stars.

Almost perfect
Wish I could give this 4.5 stars. It's almost perfect. Has good power. Starts easily. Runs quietly and without all of the smoke of 2 cycles. And not having to mix gas is super convenient. Only downside is that fuel consumption is not as good as I would have expected for a 4 cycle. Runs about as long on a tank of gas as my similar sized 2 cycle. But other than that I'm very happy with this product and would choose it over any similar 2 cycle products.

Quiet with plenty of power.
This thing purrs like a kitten. It has all the power I need for a huge lawn. Makes for quick trimming! If you've done your homework you already know that it's going to be a bit on the heavy side but that's expected for a 4 stroke. For me the reduced emissions along with long term reliability are key and the included support harness made this the perfect choice.
