Perfect to use for those airplanes that use the pesky two pronged-headset jacks.

Bought these to use on my flight to China from Los Angeles in first class. I was able to use my Shure over ear wired headphones on the plane without a problem. The best money I have spent on a travel accessory and saved me from using the airlines subpar headphones.

Of the 4 airplanes we were on for a recent trip from the western USA to the east coast flying Jet Blue we encountered 3 different sized/configured headphone jacks. This adapter worked for one of them.

If you fly on commercial airlines, and don't have a set of on-ear or over-the-ear headphones, this is a "must have" if you want to listen to music or watch movies and NOT have to use the airline supplied headphones. I MUCH prefer to listen/watch entertainment using the Beats headset that I carry on board. This is a quality product that seems well made and durable. Works well with MY equipment.

This broke just 30 minutes in the flight, the plastic molding broke off. Not a good product period.

I'm always kicking myself when I forget to bring my own headphones or my headphones won't fit the airline jack. Sometimes, although low quality sound, the airline headphones work. But often one side of the airline headphone doesn't work and/or their jack is worn out causing problems. So now with this adapter, regardless of whether the plane is a newer or older plane, using a one pin or two pin jack, I'll be able to use my headphones. I think I'll tape one of the adapters onto my headphones and place it in my carry-on bag and maybe the other adapter I'll tape to my passport lol After my next flight, I'll post an audio evaluation of the adapter :-)

The headphone adapter for using on airline entrainment system which is good for most airline but some do using 2 different size adapter instead of same size adapters.

It was good it's useful But to expensive it was 100 for 2 but the store was closed that was the only reason I bought this online

I bought 6 of them for three pairs of headphones for use on around 48 hours of travel. Within minutes they were falling apart. The picture happened to all of them. If you want entertainment on your flight and need these adapters, do not risk buying them. They will leave you disappointed and you will not have your own headphones for entertainment on your flights. I have bought some absolute rubbish in my time, but this tops the lot and ruined the entertainment package I had purchased for my air travel. If I could get that refunded, I would! Don't go through what I went through - it is not worth it. Luckily my child just used the in-flight headphones. But they do nothing to cancel the noise. I have noise-cancelling headphones which can be plugged in too - this worked perfectly for the 2 minutes I got to use them before they fell apart. Remember - I purchased 3 packets of 2, and ALL of them have perished similarly to the one pictured here.
