Works great! Strong Adhesive
Rearview mirror fell off many years ago, used this product to reattach. It held up over the years thru the warm and cold cycles. Just fell off a couple days ago, and reordered product.Simple instructions, strong adhesive, ease of use.

it is a VERY Good product.. and affordable.
I thought it was a bit expensive...BUT, it is working...so far..(previous product fell off after a week or so) if it lasts it is a bargain.

Does NOT WORK!! Can Crack Windshield due to chemical HEAT!!
I bought this Loctite Rear View Mirror specific glue and it FAILED in 5 days. Mirror fell off. It was not my first Rodeo, so everything was done correctly. Bond was just no good in Florida Heat. To add injury to FAILURE...just a day before it fell off I noticed a 1 inch crack going left and right from center of the Metal tab on windshield. (It's grown to 3 inches but seems to have stopped now. Can't be felt on either side of windshield with fingernail or Razor Blade, so it's not to the exterior.....YET.) I used just ONE DROP in center and pressed it up to the glass and held it in place for proper amount of time. NO crack seen the next day when I put the mirror on. The "Activator" reaction with the glue must have had some serious heat that I didn't notice on my Thumb while holding it.I tried the Loctite cheaper Glass Glue as well since it is rated to 176F and I've measured temps of over 140F on my Truck windshield. It failed within hours of mounting mirror after letting tab cure for 48 hours.I'm trying the Loctite 5 Minute Epoxy now. It's only rated to 120F so I'm not hopeful...but it's still on after two days now. LOLIf this fails....I will use PERMATEX 5 Minute Epoxy that I have used on my Golf Clubs for Decades. I've NEVER had a bond fail on those clubs. Need the Heat Gun to change out shafts.P.S. I saw Ole' Scotty Kilmer using this stuff on YouTube and poo pooing people who say it fails...Pfftt...rofl :~)

It is still there
So far, this has been the onky adhesive that has done the trick for my rearview mirror. It dried in almost 10 mins, but I let it cure a bit longer just in case, it was scary at first because of some of the warnings in the instructions but applying it was actually quite easy, the bracket doesn't show any residues around and even if, I think it dries colorless, the whole thing feels held sturdy enough and seems it is going to hold for ecen longer.

Clean your windshield first.
I had to cut the tip of applicator off to get the glue out which makes sense but in the directions I couldn’t find it. There is enough glue to do a couple mirrors if you needed too. Use some glass cleaner on your windshield to make sure the area is clean beforehand. Know which way the mirror bracket goes onto the windshield. I like the glue.

Worked great for me
Worked great for me to reattach the mirror on an '85 Chrysler I'm restoring. The key to this is to follow the instructions exactly, clean everything thoroughly, do it when the outside temp is comfortable and the windshield is in the shade, and wait maybe 3 days after adhering the "dot" to the windshield before hanging the mirror.

Not a happy camper!
Not a happy camper, not like the other glues I have used. After receiving the package I followed the instructions and the next day I reinstalled my mirror after three months my mirror fell off. I won’t use this product again.
