DonJoy Lateral J Patella Knee Support Brace Without Hinge: Neoprene, Left Leg, Medium

My son was diagnosed with patella alta yesterday after suffering a knee subluxation last Sunday. He is still recovering and had been wearing the wrong brace all week before we realized what was up. The physician's assistant helped me pick this one out. While we need a small, he's only 14, we're keeping the medium for when he grows and purchased the small without hesitation for right now. He says the difference when he's up and on crutches versus using the wrong brace is huge! His pain level came down today and I'm SO thankful! He will live with this issue for the rest of his life and I'm thankful we have a brace that will help when he gets hurt. Thank you!

Disappointed to order something that you need to measure the fit. It was too loose so I ordered the size Small. I ordered from them bc it says “Returns available”. Nope. It’s a Lie and very disapppinting. You can not return. Disappointed because Amazon used to be better than that.

I’ve had this for 3 weeks and so far the knee support has been helpful. The material has stretched after a couple hours wearing it. Also, there is a seam on the back side of your knee that runs vertical and it is extremely uncomfortable... that was a pour design detail.

Physical therapist recommended this type/brand for my lateral patellar movement after acl reconstruction.Stays in place, therefore keeps my patella from pulling laterally.Only dislike is the velcro. The "sticky" part is sharp/hard. Scratches my other thigh while playing soccer. Tape (at least the two types I've tried), doesn't stick to the brace to cover the scratchy piece.

This is my first knee brace. I used it when hiking the haute route in Switzerland. It was comfortable even when I was hiking for 10 hours a day. I am a careful hiker and the brace is particularly helpful on the descents. Over the current four days I have descended 13,300 feet approximately in the alps. I have also ascended approximately 12,000 feet on this portion of the route. The brace is getting plenty of use and performing quite well. Make sure that you get the right size. I thought I would order a large but in measuring above and below the knee, I was a medium.

Very nice knee brace. I was given one at orthopaedic practice so I knew it was a good one. I ordered one for my other leg. I'm have thin legs at 155lbs and the medium was a tad big but a small probably would've been too tight. I bought the neoprene one and it does gets sweaty when taking it off.

Did not fit or provide adequate support and not allowing return or seller contact. Have gone in circles with no success
