Better than expected.
I was hoping this would do the job of my previous loppers with a curved titanium blade, but is so much better with mechanical leverage. Feels solid in hand, balanced well, and more importantly, cuts shooters and small branches around 2” diameter for me. Smaller branches are clearly easier over time, so work with your body to maintain a workflow, and use the tools that help; this one definitely does.

Stanley Pruner
After 3 uses to clip Lady Banks rose vines, the blades separated and now they will not cut anything. These pruners were a waste of money. Stanley tools have always been my choice until now.S.F.

Great, w/Lifetime warranty but max cutting capacity is 1.5" not 2"
Would be 5 stars but the max cutting capacity in the ad was stated @ 2" but the packaging on the product lists the max cutting capacity @ 1.5" which unfortunately is a big difference. Also the photos make it look like the handles are one continous piece of metal running throughout up to the cutting head but they actually are bolted together with the cutting head. Very comfortable to use, the hook shaped jaws grab and hold onto the branch being cut which eliminates slippage. The gearing mechanism when combined with the sharp cutting face make cutting into even the hardest wood relatively easy.

Small and Mighty
I bought these pruners for my sister, because I love the pair I have. They are really sharp, and they cut cleanly. I haven't dulled them up after a season of clipping blackberry vines from the back of my horse. They are smaller than most pruners, perfect for stowing in my saddlebags and for the size of my hand. The locking mechanism is easy to operate with one hand. All in all, a great pair of pruners. My sister was very happy to get them in her Christmas package, and loves them as much as I do!

Best Loppers
I have been using these loppers to cut fence-lines and trails in the pasture. It cuts cedar like butter. The cutting blade is very easy to sharpen with a rasp. The longer handle means less stooping and bending over and a higher reach up into trees. I did have to tighten the screws to hold the handle end on. I've owned loppers for over 30 years, these are my favorite. They also have a lifetime guaranty.

Works, but came with issues
The blade pivot bolt was not tight, allowing the blade too gap away from the anvil. Could not cut through a 1/2 inch diameter brush this way. Tightened it up and blue thread locked it. Blades are NOT sharp. Have to take them apart and sharpen. Still not as good as my 10 year old Coronas. I needed a different pruner that I can take with my on trail rides for pruning face slapper branches. After all the fixing it's just OK.

Great little pruners!
I love these! They last and are so very handy to use when cutting back the roses. They are smaller and not heavy or cumbersome. I lost one pair in our front yard while doing roses. I was quite disturbed as one gets attached to something that works well and I was glad to find them on Amazon.
