Fantastic Riddle Book for the On-the-go Thinker
This collection of "What am I?" riddles was exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a small book that I could place on a table and flip through on a whim in case I wanted something fun to ponder for a while. Too often, I think riddle books get too full of themselves and the reader is bogged down by the layout and length of the riddles. The author finds the perfect formatting: three riddles per page every time, and the solutions are on the back of that page. This saves time in looking all the way to the back of the book. At first I was worried that I would ruin some of the riddles by accidentally looking at the previous page's solutions, but I found it was easy to focus solely on the right-hand page and was a far better layout than expected. The difficulty ranges from fairly easy to "I have absolutely no idea" from riddle to riddle which I greatly enjoy, as it forces the reader to meander through the entire book, instead of skipping half the book as "too easy". Plus it is nice to actually get one within a few seconds, especially after stumbling over a difficult one for hours. All in all, a phenomenal book to challenge your brain, made even better by a brilliant layout.

Wide range of difficulty throughout the book–don't give up after the first few!
I was excited to get some new riddles, but was a bit skeptical after starting this one–the first few pages are full of puzzles that were next to impossible. However I stuck with it, and I'm happy I did. The book is full of gems. Some are self-admittedly "famous" riddles, while most I've never heard before. The ridiculous part about this book is its use of homonyms. For example, here's one that I found incredible:"I'm done to boats, to cargo, to loads,When indoors I'm, in a way, a narrow road. What am I?"The answer, (backwards to be less of a spoiler) is llah/luah. The only warning of homonyms was in the beginning of the book, which keeps you on your toes throughout the whole book. All in all it provides a nice escape from the things that cloud our minds, I wouldn't hesitate to keep it on your coffee table. I expect to stay entertained for a long time, and plan to take it to work to share with some coworkers.

The book is hard
Its too hard for the kids. Atleast mine. Maybe yours are smarter. I have 3. One 16 yr old, one 12 yr old, and one 8 yr old. I could have just wrote 1 16, 1 12, 1 8. I'm just writing what im thinking. Sorry. Anyway the 16 year old is tall. The 12 year old is medium, the 8 year old is small. The 16 year old has brown hair. The 12 year old has a mohawk. The 8 year old has blue hair. One bought a candy. The 12 year old has $2. The 8 year old can fly. Who has the most money? Wtf. Sorry. The book is hard.

Do not buy
Pages are cut off and in the wrong order. Serious quality control issues. Do not buy, total waste of money.

Do You Like Riddles?
I don't really like riddles because I can't figure out the answers most of the time, at least not quickly anyway. I did solve some of these but I looked at the answers for others, lacking the patience to try and figure them out. The thing is, once I saw the answers, I said "of course"! If you like the What Am I? type of riddles, you'll love this book, as it has hundreds of them. The author that makes you think!

Fun and challenging, but not too challenging!
I like this book a lot. Some of the riddles just take a bit of common sense and others are virtually impossible. The perfect balance! It’s also a great way to stay sharp with all this downtime.
