Comfortable and Secure Harness
This Puppia soft dog harness is a great option for small dogs. The breathable mesh material is soft and lightweight, so my pup seems really comfortable wearing it. The over-the-head design is easy to put on, and the adjustable chest strap helps get a secure fit. The no-choke design is a big plus, especially for dogs that tend to pull on walks. The green color looks great, too! Just make sure to check the sizingāthese run a little small, so sizing up might be a good idea. Overall, a well-made and comfortable harness!

At last, the perfect walking harness
We had two problems we needed to solve. One was our two older, very large dogs that love to walk but go so bananas when we get the harnesses out that its hard to get them into them. Plus they all seem to have been made by origami experts and go on 5 different ways, 4 of them wrong. We also have a smaller lab puppy that didn't really want to walk but my ex-wife dragged him around the neighborhood anyhow and the traditional harness scraped him up a little under the arms.I was concerned about the sizing after reading the reviews, but the XXL size fits our 130lb mastiff/rotty/chow combination, our 75lb dalmation/pointer mix and the 50lb puppy. Even with the big dog, there's some room to let out. But the neck size is key, since that slips over the head. One belt, one latch, only goes on one way and even if the dog is barking and jumping around you can slip this over their head and buckle it in 10 seconds. Its soft, wraps around the head and neck, under the arms and chest, and it spreads the load out over a larger area instead of just a 1" strap. Our big dog did at one point turn around, crouch down with his front legs and slip the harness. He's done that with every one we've had. Big body, big thick neck and a smaller head is the problem. What was nice is that it took me no time at all to put it back on, and we had no problems walking in a forward direction!Edit: Its been a while since I first reviewed this, so I thought I'd give it an update. I've used this harness exclusively for all of my dogs since buying the first one. All are still fully intact and in service for several years and I've bought more. I resolved the problem of backing out of it by tightening the strap a bit. Considering two of the dogs I use these on are the 130 pounder mentioned above and a young 80lb german shepherd, both pullers, they haven't done anything to damage these harnesses. I still love how fast and easy they go on and the comfort they allow the dogs.

Super soft and functional
I ordered this harness for my 65 lb Bassett/Beagle after a recent right shoulder injury. This harness was so simple to get on him and it's made our short leash walks much easier. It's made of sturdy mesh with adjustable straps. I'm glad I found this, just ordered a second one, after my boys injury heals I'm not going back to a collar. This is a great value and perfect for my dogs safety and comfort.

Very nice harness!!
I bought this for our yellow lab that has some type of OCD. It is very nice and very nice quality, but I have one issue why I give it 4 stars. The issue if it really is an issue is the plastic connector. It's attached right to the fabric on the dogās right side. The quick connector is a little large and when my lab is lying on that side it seems like it could be a tad uncomfortable for her. Just wonder if they could have had the belt part sewed to each side and the quick connector on top somehow. Thatās not to take away from the harness, I really like it and would probably give it 4.75 stars with the connector if I could. As for the harness, in the pictures it looked a little big in front but itās made of a very nice light mesh material and it is very soft. When you get it on the dog I think itās just right. I bought the XXL size for her neck size, her neck is 21", and the fit perfect. It slipped right on over her head and seemed very comfortable, put one leg through and clicked the belt. I don't think there is a way for her to pull out of it either. It adjusts around her chest nicely. The one thing I notice when it's on, from the front above the "puppia" label to the back of the harness on the bottom of her belly it has a slight sag in the middle like it may be a tad too big, but who cares since I wanted to be sure it fit her neck. Sizing seems right on for the neck if you measure. As for using it, having a dog with OCD, she has to walk the same way, do the same things, and I can NEVER put anything on her, clothing, boots, a thunder jacket, anything, or she just stands there. I think she likes this! Normally you need give a little tug to get her to walk in some direction and if she didnāt want to go her collar would slip off. I walk her fine without a leash, but my mom is a little scared, plus she didnāt want to choke her. With this, I put it on quick and now she gently holds the leash tight and our lab actually keeps her head up and walks without OCD issues. It works well and I laughed when I took it off my lab. I asked her for a review on how she liked itā¦she actually came back and put her head into it like she wanted it back on, I put it on and then she went to sleep. Lying on her left side :-) Oh the life of a dog...got it made. I would recommend this harness.
