Beautiful fan ❤️ I love it but I may have installed incorrectly because I'm not able to just have the light on without the fan at the same time can anybody let me know what I did wrong I would like the light without fan and visa versa 😀

So far we love it. Installation was a bit tedious, but it is beautiful on our patio. We wish the remote had reverse and a dimmer, but otherwise very happy!Great shout out to LAMPS PLUS! The price dropped the day after I bought it and after an email to them they sent my account a refund for the difference without any issues!! Great customer service!!

The 54" Hermitage Rustic Vintage Indoor/Outdoor Ceiling Fan with Dimmable LED Light, Remote Control, Golden Forged Distressed Walnut Blades, Damp Rated for Patio from the Casa Viejo store looks very nice. The fan is not too noisy at high speed and th unit seems to be built from quality components. Installation was a breeze.Although the description says "Walnut Blades" they are not made of wood, they are some kind of synthetic - a plastic or fiberglass, I'm not sure. Not a dealbreaker, the blades should actually be good for outdoor use vs. actual wood.I had to install these fans ( we bought two) without the remote control units. Very inconvenient, now we only have the on/off switches on the wall to control the fan and light. The light is on full bright and the fan is on full speed. Reason is, the receiver piece that is supposed to be installed in the ceiling is way too large to fit in either the outlet box in the ceiling OR in the decorative cover supplied with the fan. ??? There are also no pull chains to control the fan speed...The remote control hand unit is pretty chintzy looking, not what one would expect for a $280 ceiling fan.Recommend? Kind of... it looks really nice, is well built but if you need to control the fan speed you must install the remote control unit.

The marketing picture shows an extended down-rod which is NOT included with the fan as shown in the picture.A down-rod extension for this fan is exceedingly time-consuming to find, because the down-rod for this fan is non-standard - don't waste even more of your time trying to find one at Home Depot or Lowe's or Lamps Plus...I don't recall ever having assigned a 1 rating, but I did so in this case in order to maybe save someone who plans on installing the fan as shown in the marketing picture from a bad experience.

I ordered two fans for the front porch. They both operate on same remote. No issues to report, both operating as expected.

We bought two of these for outdoor patios. They are gorgeous. Assembly was not that bad just labor intensive. I was worried because I purchased these months ago and I did not open the boxes until installing but all the parts were there in perfect condition.

Fan works and looks great! I put it in my new screened-in deck and it creates a nice breeze and is very quiet. The light is pretty dim, but actually perfect for nights on the deck. I had to get a 24" downrod because of the high ceiling. Ended up having to go to specialty lighting store because it takes 1/2 inch diameter rod, not the standard 3/4 inch they sell at local HD.

I love them but need to know how to reverse the blades so the air goes in the opposite direction to get air. An electrician installed them and threw away all the paperwork in the boxes.
