We lived in Europe for 30 years before returning back to the US and have been searching for high quality specialty foods ever since and boy has Fortuna hit the mark! We will be trying there entire line of Italian deli foods. Give these guys a try you will not be disappointed! This only reason we only gave them a 4 star for Giftable is the packing. If you plan to give this as a gift, have it sent you yourself and re-pack it. Small price to pay for these outrageously great salamis.

I suspect these would have been great fresh. However, I suspect during transit, the meat got so hot that the fat started melting. The texture and flavor are off.

I got these as a gift. The recipient reported that most of them were too hot (spicy). I was surprised since this person usually likes hot (spicy) food.

every piece of the order was packaged well, shipped well and tasted great. Not heavily laced with fat.

4 out of 5 were great. And the 5th was probably just a personal choice - the "soupy" just tasted strange to me.

The packagage arrived promptly. It was a gift for the holidays. The sausage seemed to have more Fat and was greasier than I was used to. Your mileage may vary
