Must have for 80's babies!
This was a great build. I love Mega Construx over Lego anyday, these days. The mini figures of He-man and Skeletor are damn mear perfection. Thank you Mega Construx!!

Excellent vehicle set for the awesome MotU mini-figures
I've been collecting various Mega Bloks/Construx sets for a couple years now, mainly the Classics and 2016 movie Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sets and have also collecting various figures from the recent Heroes line of mini-figures of which the majority of characters are from the Masters of the Universe toyline. This Wind Raider set is the first vehicle set from the Heroes line and is a recreation of the vehicle from the original MotU toyline and often used in the Filmation cartoon of the early 1980s. Mega have done a great job in the design of this vehicle making it instantly recognisable and appealing in it's own right too. It was very easy to build (for me anyways), with easy to read instructions and it even has the string winch function of the original toy. Rather than stickers that could wear down or rub off, the graphics are printed on and look great. You also get He-Man & Skeletor mini-figures which are mostly same as previous versions (I have the original single release versions so can't compare to any differences the 5-pack versions may or may not have) but He-Man has his axe (instead of sword/shield) & his harness is bit darker gray than before. Skeletor has purple power sword instead of havoc staff & his feet are painted purple like boots though are still very much his clawed toes he has in the original toyline rather than the normal boots of the cartoon. As usual these mini-figures are superbly articulated and well sculpted with nice paint. I just cannot go back to the boring simplicity of Lego mini-figures after having experiences Mega's style. These truly are like scaled down action figures with plenty of options for reconfiguration and swapping parts with other figures. I love them. :)My only 'disappointment' with the set is it doesn't come with a display stand for the Wind Raider. That would have been a nice bonus. I've used some random Mega parts I got from a car boot sale to use for a display stand instead. But yeah the vehicle itself is great. The mini-figures have small generic pieces for stands rather than the nice ones from their previous releases that have their name on. I'm more ok with that but including the original stands might have been nice too. Depends more on if you actually use them yourself. Sometimes I have mini-figures on their stands for basic display purposes and other times I have them displayed in a scene of sorts with their feet attached to a studded panel used as the base of the scene. Up to you. :)Looking forward to the awesome looking Castle Grayskull (but not looking forward to the price of the set and importing it to the UK). Long may Mega Construx continue with these lines. And please can we get a ThunderCats Classics line sometime soon? A huge Cat's Lair playset and a properly scaled Thundertank (that could hold two figures in the driving seat rather than the rather scaled down, though fun, original toy which could only hold one action figure in the front) would be amazing ThunderCats being my all time fave cartoon I would happily buy up everything Mega would produce if they did so and I'm sure I'm not the only one. :)
