Reflective silver side out and black inside . Thin so no insulation value only reflective. Does seem to keep some of heat out as well as keeping sunlight off dash etc.

This windshield cover works fairly well for our Model 3. It comes in handy when parked out in the sun. I certainly appreciate it when I am in the car while charging at a Supercharger and have to park with the windshield facing the sun. It blocks out much of the heat so the AC doesn’t have to work as hard. It is pretty big which makes it a bit cumbersome but it has to be to cover the entire windshield. The Velcro strap to secure it to the mirror works pretty well too. Overall, I think it is a good device at a reasonable price.

Light, easy to fold, slim, fits in the driver's doorside area...but the frame that holds its shape isn't flush to the edges of the front window! There's extra material thats loose and i keep it held up against the front window by using both sun visors in order for it to cover 99% of the front window. Not perfect but they work to keep sun & heat deflected when parked in the the hot sun (i live in Hawaii).

I like that it does fit my model 3 Tesla. It could be a little thicker but that doesn’t take away from the quality of the product. It is worth buying and a great price

Trying not to get fleeced for a sunshade, I visited multiple auto parts stores. "Jumbo" and "super jumbo" shades were too big. "Standard" was too small. Then I found this one online for $15, delivered overnight, and it's just right. The only better way to cover a Model Y windshield would take a can of spray paint. It's initially a little challenging to open, position, and fold this shade, but I have a feeling I'll get the hang of it. Folded, it slips into the pocket behind the front passenger seat, in easy reach. I probably won't use the included pouch. It's unneded. I predict this thing will outlast the battery. Highly recommended, especially at this price.

It works but not effectively blocking the heat for the price you paid. Just not worth.

Covers the windshield but hard to fold.

Fits my Tesla 3 quite well and as advertised, Velcro strap, wraps easily over rear view mirror, sun visors folded down, keeps it in place, it’s easy to twist and fold back to store in its case, which fits nicely in the pocket behind the passenger seat.A colleague of mine has the exact mode 3 as mine and we compared car temps with his, not using the sun shade. There was only a 4 degree temperatures difference. With temps outside at 102 Degrees Fahrenheit and sunny, my car was at 95 degrees and his was 99.Because the shade protected the dash and part of the seats from the sun, my car was quick to cool and my colleagues car took more time, for his front dash was scorching hot.All in all, I’m very satisfied with this sun shade.

Excellent product. Fits very well and easy to use if you know how to fold it. If you can’t figure it out fold it in half and watch a you tube video on how to fold up a light disc. Basically it twists into two smaller circles.
