Best price and quantity for these pankos. I love using Pankos over breadcrumbs and they tend to have a nice crunchiness to them and taste better. The texture is nice too. I would recommend these over breadcrumbs any day.

As someone who cooks with a lot of panko, I was very excited to find this massive bag of Kikkoman panko bread crumbs. It has allowed me to make large batches of some of my family's favorite snacks and has been far fresher than what I have gotten in our local grocery store. It smells fantastic and has the perfect amount of crunchiness, again, which is a sign of freshness. The texture and taste were also perfect. I also found that I could turn them into more traditional breadcrumbs in my food processor, allowing me to mix them with fresh spices to make the most amazing bread crumbs!

Bought this when the brand we normally get got prohibitively expensive. This seems to be a good quality replacement. My son makes Katatsu with is this product and it works fine.

I bought these to follow a recipe I have for Tonkatsu. The first time I used regular bread crumbs because I could not find the japanese crumbs locally. I did not think the substitution would matter . It DOES make a differnence in taste and the adherence of the crumbs and the taste they give to the meat are phenemonal. Great texture the egg quality is fantastic and it smells good too. I plan to use it for all my fried meats now. And when you drain the pork chop it is done with it standing upright not flat on the paper towel. That makes a difference too. I will never buy any other bread crum again .

I used this to make eggplant parm for my husband's birthday dinner and it worked great! Fried well, toasted beautifully, and the crunch was satisfying.

bought two bags, love this stuff! makes great fried EVERYTHING coating! Learned this as a chef! excellent coating for fish, chicken, jo jo’s, chic fry steak, just about everything! good price for a BIG bag! try it!

Panko bread crumbs in general are a great, easy to use pantry item to have on hand. I particularly like Kikkoman Japanese style panko crumbs better than other brands because they are not highly seasoned and maintain their crunch even after cooking. If used as breading, the result is a light crust that’s delicious. If you prefer a more solid coating, the bread crumbs can be ground finer yet they don’t get “gummy” after cooking like traditional bread crumbs can. I often use these bread crumbs to create a savory “streusel” topping that I sprinkle on meat, vegetables before roasting, even on casseroles before cooking and salads as a topping. These bread crumbs accept seasoning very well so they can really be customized to individual tastes. Hope this helps. Enjoy.

Very tasty and price is good. Nothing else compares.

The panko crumbs are good quality, do everything a panko crumb should. The packaging was an issue for us. The panko was boxed with heavier items and the bag popped, scattering the crumbs throughout every other item in the order. It was a MESS. Ended up tossing 80%. Called Amazon customer service and got a refund. Might order again if I knew it was in a box by itself.
