how soon do we see the improvement in serum albumin levels and relief from pitting edema?

We don't have as much success with pills as when doctors give my husband albumin in IV form. The pills are more for maintenance, but this one is the one my husband's body can tolerate. If you get severe edema, you need to be on diuretics, potassium, & if you can talk your doctor into it a heavy dose of albumin in IV (it must be expensive & hard to get 'cause they don't just give it out unless you are near death---my husband 3 times). Also get cut to fit compression stockings & use Eucerin Calming moisturizer for sores, Curel itch defense moisturizer for itching. Good Luck & God Bless you.

Do these have enteric coating?

I believe it does. It's coated with something. It's not "raw" like an aspirin. As a previous gastric bypass patient, I found these very easy to take. They're white, round pills. You only take 2 a day and you can break that down- take one in the morning, and one in the evening. I found these to be really great in helping with my protein deficiency. I am about to buy 4 packs .... what is the expiration day ?

I bought my packs months ago but the expiration date was Oct. 2017 so yours should be good until 2018 or so.
