Favorite characters from Toy Story for grandson age 4
This was one of the first games we bought for his leap frog handheld game system. He was flying and it kept him occupied and also content for the week while visiting. He took it home with him along with 3 other games we bought for him. I got these at a buy one get one half off sale and money well spent! He was able to navigate it by himself and it held his attention for close to an hour before wanting to change to another game or activity. It initiates reading which is new to him and he seems to be liking the challenges.

Fun and educational
To be honest I picked this off a registry list for my godson who is a little over four years old. He has had the LeapPad Tablet for sometime but did not have any of the expansion games. He was very excited to get the game and had it up and running within minutes with his dads help. While it is probably a little advanced for his current age, he was already able to do a great deal with the game and will certainly have room to grown into it. ... and who doesn't love TOY STORY!?!

and he has enjoyed it thoroughly
Bought this for my four year old, and he has enjoyed it thoroughly. He has played it to completion since, but still picks it up and plays the mini-games often. I like the fact that it helped him with letter sounds and simply machine operation skills. It also helped him look more attentively at details, because it has a comparative picture game as well.

GREAT PRODUCT....
Leap frog ahs done it again. What an amazing game, it is very educational and my five year old loves playing with this game. I had to order this game becasue out of all the games this was the only one that is always sold out at the stores. I would highly recommed this game.

For your Toy Story fan
We purchased this game for our 2 yr old boy who is a HUGE Toy Story fan. He loves this game. He is still learning how to use the D pad, but quickly became a whiz on all the other missions. Our 4 yr old daughter also loves this game, so it's a matter of who gets it first and who has to wait their turn. I'm disappointed that Tom Hanks did not lend his voice to the game, as well as some other Woody products, but my kids don't seem to realize this and love it nonetheless.

leapster
My 5 yr old son wasnt much for games. He's the type 2 get frustrated with things then give up. I guess bc he wants to play with his 13yr old sis stuff and can't. But now he wont put this leapster explorer down. He picked up on the controls and object of each game rather quickly. Things are spelled out for the player with repitition and voice commands. Idk he just loves it. He received a few games for the holidays and has gotten a couple since and enjoys them all. So much that we are looking into buying the battery charger kit, which I hear you can also plug the game into an ac outlet also. Otherwise look for battery sales. Ha

Be forewarned not always comprehensive when use on leap pad devices that are not the "explorer"
When I purchased the game I figured since it said compatible with all leap pad devices it would work fine with a leap pad 2. The game does work fine but since it intended for the leap pad explorer the game format uses the explorers concept of a display screen and using a and b buttons as well as the arrow pad. I'm sure on the explorer device it works fine but on a leap pad 2 it is very difficult to use. We will still continue to play it so the money will not be wasted

Did Not Work BRAND NEW Out of the Box
Maybe it was my fault for trying to be smart, and buy birthday gifts early so I could afford a few fancier things for my son... but after the refund/return window was closed, my son finally had his birthday. We squirreled this game, another, and the LeapFrog 2 away until his birthday. LeapFrog 2: Worked great, for about 20 hours, now it's an overpriced, useless paperweight because it broke, other game worked fine and dandy, even without the same fancy box that this one came in. This game: never ever ever ever worked. How much fun it is to set aside something, you think it's going to be one the *best birthdays ever* for my youngest, and instead I get to throw away money on hunks of plastic.Granted, Amazon did refund me despite having purchased it so long ago and squirreling it away without testing it. But between this game not working from the get-go and the device crapping out less than 24 hours from opening... I've lost all faith in electronic toys. Amazon refunded me, but trying to explain to my upset 5 year old that half the stuff I gave him for his birthday is all broken, and useless straight out of the box, or 20 hours later: priceless, in the worst possible way.
