On Wings of Faith

Wonderful Wonderful book chock full of miracles on every page! This is a true story you need to know about the impossible task given to a young Ezra Taft Benson immediately following WWII in Europe. The things he and his small group saw, the doors that opened, and the faith of Latter-day Saints living in a devastated rubble heap for a home are truly astounding. Whether or not you are part of the LDS faith, anyone who believes in the hand of God and miracles will be touched by what happened so long ago in this early humanitarian trip.

This book is a wonderful story (stories) of how the United States helped reestablish living conditions for 1,000 of displaced persons throughout Europe after the Second World War. Mostly it gives heavenly messsges to those effected. Best of all that assistance came from an Apostle of God, who later would be Prophet: Ezra Taft Benson.

This is a book about the Lord blessed two men to accomplish what seemed impossible. It goes well with "A Labor of Love". The way they set things in motion to get help to people after WW II is really amazing what they did. The Lord really wants to help us all.

Loved the book. Great read about the recovery efforts of the LDS (Mormon) church in Europe after WW2. Ezra Taft Benson was put in charge of the Church's recovery efforts in providing food and clothing to those countries destroyed by the war.

In the top 5 of my favorite books. Very moving.

Just an excellent book of faith and so informational of life after WW II. I never thought of all the people who had to put there lives back together and had no means to do it.

Great true story, even if some passages are difficult because of the subject matter. Teaches some wonderful spiritual lessons and brings out some great human emotions.

Great stories from about the immediate needs of people following the devastation of war written in a journal style.
