this product was old when sold to me on Amazon. The smell was terrible and not like the Maui rain lotion I had previously bought in Hawaii. I traveled with this to Hawaii, and all the friends said it was terrible. Found another one in Hawaii and the smell and the beautiful fragrance was so nice. Very disappointed and would not recommend ever buying a Hawaiian fragrance online again very disappointing.

This is the first time I have ordered and used this product. It is wonderful. It is lightly scented and leaves my skin feeling soft with the ever-present soft-scent of Maui Rain.I LOVE this product.

First, I have been wearing Maui Rain perfume since 1997 when I lived on Oahu. I usually purchase around 2 bottles per year and try to make them last! This is my second bottle of Maui Rain lotion and I swear it is just not the same as the first one that I bought about a year ago. I actually still had a teensy amount left in that bottle and compared the two. The first was in a cobalt plastic bottle just like the image in the photo, and it had a much fuller Maui Rain fragrance--also, the lotion was creamier, a nice rich consistency. This one came in a green plastic bottle (probably totally insignificant but at first I wondered if I'd somehow ordered the wrong lotion) and the fragrance was noticeably much weaker, so faint that I kept double-checking if it even had the Maui Rain fragrance--plus, the lotion itself was almost watery, a very light and thin consistency that was disappointing as well. I use my lotions to moisturize as well as provide a pretty fragrance, and this one does neither well. Now I will be reluctant to order again because it is simply too expensive to chance getting one like this again. Disappointing...I wish the makers of Maui Rain would consider expanding this fragrance into Shampoo and Conditioner, a shower gel, candles, massage oil, etc. As long as there was a guarantee that the fragrance and quality were consistent, I'd buy them all!

I am so glad it is not just me. I have had several bottles of the lotion and this time I ordered it through Amazon . It came in a green bottle.....not the cobalt blue as usual. It is not thick and the aroma is not at all long lastingI was very disappointed. I did also ordered the perfume and that is just fine. I will be very hesitant to reorder any lotions.I must add that the two products came from different locations..........

I love Maui Rain perfume and thought this would be close. Not even close. Not close enough for the price of the lotion. Way to high. It's not horrible smelling, but not what I was expecting.
