Spanx 642 - Cotton Control Body Skimming Tank Top

I ordered three of these compression tanks to compare: H:oter® Mens Slimming Body Shaper Vest Shirt Abs Abdomen Slim, White - XXL, Insta Slim Muscle Tank Shirt - White - XXL, and the SPANX in XL.FITFew reviews are explaining their size. I am 6'3, 300lbs, wear an XXL in everything and a 44in waist. If you're close to this, order an XL. In the H:oter I got an XXL and it was too big, defeating the purpose. The Insta Slim was almost (but only just) too small in an XXL.QUALITYI really didn't want this to be the case, but the SPANX had the best quality. It feels like those golf shirts made with Spandex. Likewise, it's really light and I do not find it that hard to get on and off.The H:oter was mostly cotton and didn't offer any of the same support that the SPANX does. But that could have been that it was too big.The Insta Slim was awful. It felt like really cheap spandex or even latex in some ways, it's just not good. You definitely get what you pay for here.I'm giving the SPANX 4 stars because it's stupidly expensive. I don't like that this is the best one, and I'm going to order a few middle of the road ones as well. I don't see why anyone can justifying spending this much on an undershirt which, let's be honest, you hope no one ever sees you in.RESULTI'm ignoring the other two shirts and just focusing on SPANX here: It made my otherwise large belly flat, and reduced my chest size. I picked up the Tank and not the shirt because I read the sleeves rode up. The back of the shirt is riding up for me, so I can only imagine the sleeves wouldn't be great. But, I'm wearing a shirt I haven't fit into in a while, and I only notice the tank on me because I never wear tight clothing, and I'm getting used to it.I'd recommend this to you if you have the money to spend, but order a few different ones to compare. I'm going to send the other two back for now and try under armour as well.

Now that I am approaching 40 years old and I do not work out as regularly as I should, my body has become slightly doughy around the waist. This item does as advertised. It's not going to make you look like you're in the gym five days a week. But what he did for me is it tightened up my chest and waist line just enough to make my clothes fit better. I wear it under dress shirts with trousers and I can notice a slight difference in my appearance. It seems to make my pants feel like they fit a little bit better. A little pricey, otherwise I would've given a higher rating.

Keeps everything "in place", as advertised but best benefit is how much it helps my lower back pain. I'd recommend it for that reason alone. It is comfortable; I've had no desire to get out of it. It's also NOT hot. I wore it in 90 deg weather and it was no warmer than without it. Just be sure you order a size smaller than your shirt size. I'm a medium and the small was a perfect fit.

Absolutely amazing. All SPANX products are. Purchased these for my brother. He loved them. They came in handy for my eldest brother's wedding. I had to purchase mine from the store because i needed it ASAP.

I had an older Spanx but was very sintetic but this is more soft and comfortable. Good Job.

Nice fit...does what you expect. ..it will not make you thinner, it will however "keep things in their place" so to speak and allow clothing to fall nicely. Overall good product, can be a little warm though.

These undershirts firm you up, and are very comfortable. They are expensive, but you get what you pay for.

This isn't a great option. It was very tight, but it didn't shape/smooth out anything. I won't order one of these again.
