Darice VL5862, Lace Pearl Adjust Garter with Toss Away Set, White

I didn't buy this for my wedding or anything fancy, but i've always been obsessed with wedding garters I think they're just so cute and sexy. Also cheap garters are awesome for people like me who love to add cute little details to everyday outfits! So when I saw this I was like holy crapu this a dream come true but when I got it, it looked a little bit different from what I expected, the thicker band just doesn't look right on me (it makes my leg look a bit plumper than usual, maybe because it doesn't fit idk) so I only ever wear the thinner one but that's just me personally, but honestly I love the thin garter band and I wear it all the time.So despite not liking the thicker band, the thin band makes this product still great for the inexpensive price (:I didn't get paid or get anything free for my review, Unfortunately I had to buy it full price with my own hard earned $12.99 Haha ):(I attached pictures of me wearing the garter with my review, because the only photo's on this product are just of the garters without any pics of people actually wearing them. That kind of irritated my scam radar, luckily I just went with my least favorite thing to say when making an amazon purchase which is "what the hell" so now thanks to me you don't have to do that)

The main garter was seriously perfection. It looked beautiful (I was scared it would look cheap and crummy--NOPE!) and was so comfortable. Being adjustable was absolutely amazing--I didn't even know something like it existed. I was nervous reading about buttons breaking and not holding up, but mine were just fine!! I planned on double stitching over them myself and completely forgot in the hustle and bustle of the days leading up to the wedding.. thankfully they held up just fine!!The only reason I am giving 4 instead of 5 is because of the throw away garter. It's probably because my leg was too large for it and because it was 100 degrees plus outside....but it seriously messed up my leg. Our garter toss was at the end of the night and I wore both garters all day so he could just take off the throw away one.... It left painful burn marks of sorts (like when you leave an elastic hair tie on your wrist for too long and it gets red and irritated) all around my leg that left markings for a week after, including on my honeymoon. Not sure what was up with that. I guess if I were to do it again, I would've just put the second one on right before the garter toss. I didn't imagine it would cause so much discomfort.Overall, especially for the price, this was perfection.

Even with a bead falling out I still love it (and believe me, I'm a stickler for these things and getting my money's worth). I really like the lace, the long lace overlay for the leg makes me actually feel pretty sexy and to me it doesn't look cheap at all. Some say you may have to sew the clip a little tighter which may be true, I tried it on and it fit perfectly so I may not have to. My wedding hasn't passed yet so not sure if it will losen when I'm dancing etc but from what I see now it seems fine. Even seems to match my dress. I went to a crafts store and they were selling the set for about $26 dollars. I had a 40% coupon and it still wasn't worth the buy. I'm glad I didn't since it wasn't as pretty as this one.I'm a size 6 btw. My thigh isn't super thick or slender but they are kinda muscular (for those wondering about the fit). I didn't try on the throw away though.Overall with the bead falling out and possible clip adjustment I'd give it a 4.5 but since that isn't an option I rather give it a 5. :)

Original I went to a bridal shop and bought a garter set for $30. It was nice and all white also and adjustable just like this one was and when I took the adjustable one out of the box the snap wasn't even sewn on. It must have come loose in the packaging. I went back to the store to exchange it but I noticed that many of the snaps were loose in the others as well so I just returned it for a refund.I was a little bummed until I saw this one on Amazon but I figured that for the price of $12 it wasn't going to be the greatest garter. I was wrong by a long shot. The larger garter is absolutely beautiful and very well made. The smaller garter is nice as well ... much nicer than the $30 set I had originally purchased. I'm so glad that I decided to go the "cheap" route instead of just choosing a different style at the bridal shop. I got a very beautiful looking set for half the money, no tax, free shipping (I ordered other items as well) and I got it 2 days. I am very pleased.

These are quite beautiful in person! It's hard to find a garter for those of us blessed with bigger legs than a Barbi doll, but these did the trick! I really like that these are adjustable as well, it gives more options for comfort than just a "one size fits all". The only issue I had was that the little snaps weren't sewn on very well, and one came off entirely after I first tried it on. It was an easy enough fix to sew back on, and for the quality of material and price it was no big deal!

Bought this for a bride to be and she loves it. Really cool to get both garters in one package and the price was right. This did arrive as promised. The ability to adjust the the size is great and the design is so beautiful. The only reason that I did not give this 5 stars is because of the poorly sown on snaps. I had to restitch those.

I love this so much! The theme for my wedding is bows and ribbons so this seemed perfect to me. It does really well to adjust to different sizes but for me it was perfect the way it came (I am an XS for everything). I placed my order on the 2nd of February and received it on the 6th of February (I live in California) so it was awesome shipping. In the picture I have my phone next to the garter so you can compare sizing (my phone is roughly 5 1/2" by 2 1/2").

I was surprised by this product. To be honest I was not expecting much but when it came I was happily surprised. The smaller garter is just an elastic band but stretched quite far and would adapt to many different sizes. the lace one also stretched but also has small button like clasps to adjust the sizing. I am 5'5" and aprox 150 lbs with bigger thighs and it fit me great! Good price too!
