The original power cable cracked due to the stiffness and length of the wire resulting in smoke and sparks from the power cable. The replacement is double the length and softer. However, one of the wire connectors was larger than the original and I had difficulty coupling the connectors. Using a file, I shaved down the plastic coupler enough to be able to insert into the corresponding connector and used a pair of pliers to push the connectors together because it was so tight. Hopefully I'll be able to disconnect in the future should I have the need to replace the power cable again. Otherwise, once connected, worked as expected.

Perfect fit to the vacuum I have. Removed the old one and plugged the new one in. The new one had thicker gauge wire than the original. Works perfect, came with a diagram so that you wire it right.

I have bought several of these over the years and this time was the first time everything didn't just connect back like it should. This time one of the connectors was too large to fit into the adjoining connector. I read some other reviews concerning this same problem and one review said to shave off some of the plastic from the sides of the connector until it fits. We did that, it connected and works just fine. Disappointed that we had to do that but hopefully this will be corrected in the near future.
