how many pounds can these bags hold when buying groceries?

I don’t know exactly how many lbs but I use them every week for grocery shopping. I’ve put 2 half gallon milk containers in one along with one or two other items never had a problem. I use same bags at least twice to conserve. I also use them for small garbage like bathroom too. I would recommend them.

How are they dispensed?
