When I received this item, I was hoping it wasn't that bright LED type lighting. I installed the bulb and loved it! Nice, incandescent type light. The product has a heavy and solid feel to it. I already have a lamp post light that was nonfunctional, so I removed the old one and just set the new one on. Painted the post to match. Beautiful lighting that lasts all night. It easily solved a problem I had for years. I was very impressed to see the light was still on when I got up in the morning! I set it on the low setting in hopes that would remain on longer. That seemed to work great. Haven't tried the high setting. Very happy!

The media could not be loaded. We bought the Gama Sonic Royal Bulb post light and 5’ pole kit as a set to replace a pole lamp that was destroyed by Hurricane Ian. The whole project took only a couple of hours to complete and we are very happy with the results. We opted to purchase Gama Sonic’s Flame Bulb for the gas light effect. It matches a gas light bulb we have on the front porch. Between the styling of the lamp and the antique style of the lamp post, it looks like something from the 1890’s. We’re very happy that we chose this post light. And, Gama Sonic added a set of two solar powered flashlights as a gift. Nice!

I needed a solar light on the north facing side of our house. This lamp, even in the winter and without any direct sunlight, still charges up enough to last ~4 hours. I use the low setting, which is still plenty bright. So it works well and is simple to set up and operate.But when I got it I realized I ordered the post base, not the pedestal base. I sent them a note on their web site, asking if I could buy a different mounting base, and 4 days later the base I needed showed up for free. Nice!Then, months later, someone broke out one of the glass panels. I sent them another note on their web site and got replacement glass for $3 a pane. Nice! (You do have to call and talk to a person to order, which seemed old school, but it worked very well - no 'on hold' and a person on the other end who knew what they were doing.)I'd definitely buy another of these.

Heavy construction and looks attractive

The lamp is solid built, the brightness is just fine, packaging was double packed and it arrived fast.My only complaint is two issues that have to do with whoever assembled the unit: 1- the screw that you suppose to attach a knob to when closing the top was loose, and made it very hard to unscrew the top when I was trying to remove the top after needed to turn on the unit. So I hand to monkey with that, and 2: the very top knob goes into a threaded shaft, and that was inserted loosely, and nearly caused me to strip it.Both issues could have been avoided with a bit more care for assembly by the person responsible.Otherwise the light unit function great .

Very easy to install and unlike the one we returned it stays on all night. Well worth the money.

Love it, higher priced than the Rest. HOWEVER, you get what you pay for. It looks stunning! So glad I chose it.

6 months in Canada:+ solar power+ nice style+ feels sturdy and good quality materials+ shines bright in Spring (when there’s more sun during the day)+ easy to install- top of the light is not slopped enough so snow will accumulate and blocks the little solar panels = low light in winter.Bought this after my electrical lamp quit on me. Kept the 3 inch post and put this solar lamp on top, which fit perfectlly. Very happy with the product.

Ideal replacement product for obsolete Natural gas post mount light. Fit existing post perfectly and provides acceptable light coverage on low setting. Very pleased with product.

Looks well made, even on the low setting the light is still very bright and stays lit for 10 hours-dusk to dawn. Even on overcast, wet days the lamp is able to charge up and works for 8-10 hours.

Purchased this solar yard light to replace electric light that shorted out. Works as advertised so far (1 month of use).
