Definitely reccomend
Best knife around. I would purchase this knife over and over again! I use it for cooking cutting meat and vegetables and it works great

Sharp, well made, good value
Pros:Very sharp out the box, sharper than a mora, retains an edge very well, a few passes on a strop after some abuse and it shaves with ease.Excellent Finnish workmanshipGrippy handleGood leather sheath with a plastic linerExcellent valueConsVery short handleA few imperfections on the cast finger gaurd, not a deal breaker or a surprise at this priceA very good knife, good for detail work, I did some whittling with it, the blade is really amazing for what it costs. Wish the handle was an inch longer, difficult to grip solid with big hands, but for fine work with a light grip it is really great. I own a few dozen knives, some high quality, some dirt cheap. This knife is the sharpest of the lot. I'm a big Mora fan, but Marttiini makes some really excellent knives for a few bucks more than a Mora.

Excellent Product!
I have several Marttini knives and they are all top quality - this one is no exception. The quality is just as I expected. Also, the seller called to make sure I had received my shipment after a shipping delay. I would do business with this seller again in the future!

Nice little knife
The Marttiini Little Classic is the same size as the Lynx Lumberjack, a knife I like a lot. It has a stainless blade where the Lynx has carbon steel. It has a hard rubber handle with a single guard and flared pommel. The Lynx has a rough birch handle, same flared pommel, and a bolster with no guard. The Classic comes with a vinyl leatherette sheath, where the Lynx has an embossed leather sheath. The pictures do not do this knife justice. It looks and feels a lot better than they let on. At about $19, half the price of the Lynx, it is an excellent value. The manufacturer touts this knife for people with small hands, women and children. Nevertheless it works fine with my medium-sized hands, using a three-finger grip and cupping the pommel in my palm, perfect for pushing the clip point into an object. The blade is shaving sharp out of the box, has an excellent reputation for edge retention, and should be as easy to maintain as any other Scandi blade. I have not yet had the chance to really work it hard, but it is a dandy cigar cutter, and looks to be as good a worker as my Moras.

Smaller than expected, feels flimsy, very sharp, sheath is nice.
Nice knife but feels very flimsy in the hand and was smaller than expected. Very sharp out of the box and i ended up using mine as a kitchen knife. Sheath is solid and attractive. Decent knife for the value.

Best knife yet
I collect knifes this by far is the best one yet. It came razor sharp. Its my edc knife. The 420 steel is unreal. The rubber grip makes it feel normal in your hand. My knifes are used mainly to open things and cook with. This knife goes through steak like butter and brisket omg perfect cut every time. I could see people hunting with this. The knife is so impressive I have a friend that does not like knifes. I was using mine in the steak house he loved it so much he bought one right there and then.I would not trade this knife for anything. People are looking for the perfect knife look no further.

its a really cool little knife with a tiny little handle
I thought this was a smaller blade knife with an adult sized handle. wrong! its a really cool little knife with a tiny little handle. I gave it to my son and now when we go hiking or camping he feels really macho because he has a bad a$$ scandi grind bush Knife that looks just like Dad's! Its crazy sharp like all Marttiini knives right out of the box, so he only gets to carry it when well supervised but it is perfect for a first fixed blade field knife for a child or perhaps a woman with smaller hands. if you are a man with medium to large hands, the handle on this knife will likely not be comfortable for you.The sheath is very nice, the blade is brightly polished like most Marttiini's, the handle material is aggressively grippy and feels very hard. the only thing that is a bit deceptive from the image is the metal at the hilt. In the image it looks brightly polished like the blade but in fact it is a frosty cheaper looking metal. Not sure if it is some kind of cast steel or sand blasted, but I saw some rough seams which are likely to be artifacts of a die casting process.

Good little knife - neck knife
This compares favorably with the Mora line of knives. I like the stainless and it comes razor sharp. It costs a few bucks more than the Mora and comes with a nice leather sheath with a plastic insert in the sheath where the tip is to prevent the blade from cutting the leather. This is Finland European quality and I can use this as a scraper for my firesteel and it works great. This is a $20 knife and do not expect to do heavy duty work with it as it is not made for heavy use. I like buying quality products NOT MADE IN CHINA and this is it. Finland is next door to Sweden where the Mora is made and very comparable in quality. Marttiini is well known in Finland and is like "Buck knives" here in the USA.These work great for creating a spark with Firesteels....
