Haven’t really used it yet because there are several loops of the yarn that are broken and dangling free. I was going to sew them first, before it got any worse. I thought the reviews of this product were somewhat embellished. Not really happy with this rug.Update December 4, 2019 : Worse rug ever! Of course it is just a few days past the return date availability and I washed this rug today, following all the instructions. What I got when the washer stopped and I opened the lid was a massive pile of thick cotton fibers all over everything. I did not dare put it in the dryer and will not use this rug ever again. Please don't buy this rug!!

Love this mat it can actually be reversed for a more subtle striped look. It’s pretty thick. Excellent value

I bought this rug because it said you could put it in the washing machine. The first time I washed it started falling apart and shrunk by at least 2 inches on each side. Second wash it was even worse :(.Unfortunately I can not keep a white bath mat clean so being able to wash it is a must. Going to have to find something else because it is falling apart, shrunken, and filthy after only 3 months.

Loved this rug until I washed it. I followed the instructions on the label. It disintegrated in the wash and ruined my machine!!!

We’ve had this rug 2 months and I’ve washed it twice. Our cat has been ill and, for whatever reason, only vomits on rugs. Including this one. To wash, I treat the spot with stain remover and throw the rug in the wash with a splash of bleach. We have a top load machine, no agitator. I use the heavy duty cycle, hot, with extra water; I dry it on the highest temp setting until about 80% dry.As expected, when I washed it the first time, it shrank. Probably 3-4 inches in length (no change in width). The stitching and braiding handled the wash/dry just fine.However, I rated it 4/5 stars for ease of cleaning because it does shed a lot of fiber in the washer and dryer. Considering how much it shed during w/d, I’ve been surprised that it doesn’t shed during use.I researched a lot of rugs and reviews before purchasing this. My search criteria specified: cotton, 60 inches, runner, woven, braided. This rug is everything I wanted (and more, esp considering it’s washability & durability). Definitely would recommend.

I purchased this for my back door where my dogs come in and out. One of the main reasons I bought it was so I could wash it whenever needed. After one wash (following instructions exactly) there were fibers/lint left EVERYWHERE in my washer! Stuck all over the sides and in the small holes. It was a mess! I like the rug itself a lot but I don’t agree with it being machine washable. It also doesn’t stay in place. I will be needing to get some double sided tape or something to hold it down.

Love this rug -- the size is great, it's soft, and looks nice. The only thing that would make it better is if it had a non-slip backing on it (but I get that it wouldn't wash as well if it did). I have a slippery marble tile and this slides all over the place. I recommend getting some backing strips if you don't have textured flooring.

The best runner for the perfect size. I was worried it was going be a cheap texture but was super surprised when it came. I have washed it and there hasn’t been any frays.

This rug looks nice but that is all. It falls apart in the wash, I hung it to dry. Garbage. Returned.
