The last pair of these trainers I bought fitted great. This pair seem to be bigger and I think I could have bought a WIDE pair rather than EXTRA WIDE. They just feel very different. Look the same but not the same. However still the best I could find to fit my hand made orthotics without which walking would be too painful and I was prepared to buy from the USA and import to UK as no UK supplier because of this.

I'm a senior who takes my dog on long walks every day. After I slipped and fell on a wet path, a friend recommended hiking shoes. New Balance is my go-to brand for extra wide shoes, so I purchased these. What a difference on rough or slippery terrain! These shoes have great traction. No more slipping or falling with these shoes. I purchased size 9, 2x-Wide.

It runs large through length and width. So when it's suggested to round down 1/2 size, I'd say that's pretty accurate. If you wear a wide width normally, you likely would not need to order wide in this shoe.

not for people that need total sole comfort - even with orthotics the soles were incredibly hard - best for non-overweight wearers.

Amazing shoes that you can change out insoles if your feet are swelling up that day or not and the perfect shoe of you have special made insoles.They do run a little big so go at least a half size down from your normal size.The wide option is very true to size.Best shoes I have ever had on my life! I will never buy another brand!!!

Well made. It's hard to find wide width shoes that fit my Orthodics. These fit them perfectly. The do run a bit larger than most shoes so take that into consideration. Well made, very nice sturdy tread. Cleaned up well as got them muddy the first day.
