Assembly was a snap- literally. Instructions show you how to assemble it for use against a flat spot wall or a rounded hot tub. We accidentally got a step reversed but with a simple screwdriver popped it out put around and snapped it back into place the right way. Durable plastic resin seems to hold up well. I bought these steps to use with our travel trailer. Sometimes when leveling at a site you have a bigger gap beneath your step that makes a second step imperative. This has been a wonderful solution that's perfectly sturdy! We use it every time instead of pulling out our camper step - it fits right under the door and while traveling it wedges underneath our camper table perfectly. It also makes for a handy seat when in use. Best purchase ever. Highly recommended!

Very sturdy and shipped quickly. They were a little tough to put together by myself, but I managed. Needed a rubber mallet to pop the steps into place.

They were very easy to put together. Maybe 2 min max. Read reviews so that you don’t accidentally put them together wrong. Once they are snapped together that is it. Very sturdy!
