Bought this to time my tea brewing. It a cheap plastic sand timer that has been embedded inside a quite nice sturdy wooden frame. Overall happy with the purchase, it looks nice next to my kettle, and it is accurate.

Very pretty and in use every day
I never knew that tea timers even exist before stumbling on this when looking for a present for my tea lover daughter. The timer is pretty and a bit quirky, and actually very useful in our household. No more cries "MY TEA!!!" and an unplanned cuppa of Builder's Special.Now it's just "MY WATER" (re-boil the kettle), "MY CUP" (run upstairs to find the favourite mug) and "MY TIMER" (run around to find the timer). :DVery pretty, useful and does the job. Thanks to it being a repurposed old wooden bobbing it's also a good conversation point.
