We raise and rescue chickens. This has been a great supplement when a chicken gets sick. Our experience has been that it provides all the right nutrients to help them gain weight and strength during their recovery.

My sun conure got sick. And this formula has been amazing. I have used exact formula which I liked back when I was hand feeding babies. But this formula I love . I will order again and will feed my adult birds this as they are spoiled. If I ever have baby birds again I will buy this over and over again. Love the texture smooth but thick. It's well worth the money

Have been using this brand for about 5yrs now for handfeeding baby birds. This is a good quality hand feeding formula. Smells good and the babies seem to like it eating off a spoon not syringe. Keeps well in the freezer between clutches. Worth the cost. Definitely worth getting for your baby birds when handfeeding.

Found an orphaned nestling sparrow, this baby loves the formula. He is thriving and doing so well. Quality: This formula is easy to prepare, mixes well, and is well received. He loves it and is growing fast.

I have tried another well known brand of formula and never liked it because of the gritty lumpy texture. This formula blends up so smooth. It smells wonderful and the babies I've hand fed with it really love it. I always end up making more than I need at one time, but it's ok because my adult birds actually enjoy this as a treat too and will beg for it when they see it. I use a few different Higgins foods for my birds. I was very impressed with the quality of their formula. I highly recommend this formula to anyone hand raising babies

Lovebird devours this blend over the big box brand that starts with a “K” , and will chose this one first if given a choice. I saw some complaints about mixing proportions, but have found over the years that water temperature and sit time all play a roll in consistency with all blend formulas. So use your own judgement for the needed consistency needed for age and ability of bird. This was my first time rescuing a parrot and had to force feed until tried this formula.
