These are perfect to use with leca. In most of the self watering pots I’ve purchased there is a 2-3 inch gap between the bottom of the nursery pot insert and the bottom of the pot requiring use of a string to wick the water up. The strings get so gross. Not necessary with these pots as there is very little space between the two which is perfect.

If there were 10 stars I wld give it a 10! Of all the planters I have purchased this is the one I am in love with! Very sturdy and get this, I am bad at doing any type of assembling and the water level indicator came assembled! Now that was a winner for me! I’ll have to do it lil by lil since my husband is dealing with cancer treatment and the bills are mounting but, needless to say, I will be purchasing more of these. I HIGHLY recommend this product to ALL plant parents!

I'm new to planting and wanted a way to display my plants while at the same time, making it easy to keep up with the hassle of figuring out how much to water. I picked up the 7" pots and I can safely say my plants seem to be enjoying it. I used it on a variety of pothos, philodendrons, and a rattlesnake calathea. It's super easy to use and all my plants have extra space to grow! Convenience is there because you just have to fill water to the mark and you're good for the rest of the week. I also like the fact that the planters are super sleek and modern. You really can't ask for anything more in a planter- it does it all. I highly recommend this if you don't already have one.

Finally found a pot that's a nice pastel color and has a water indicator! All other pots I've found are either black or white or just an ugly bold color. It's nice to finally find something colorful that's pleasing to the eye and also be able to tell how much water it has. Also love that it has an opening to pour water to the bottom of the pot instead of watering directly on the soil.

It has been unwieldy to determine of the many self-watering pots offered on Amazon are BPA-free. The glass ones are the of the very few that state so. The AI question section indicated that PP is generally considered BPA-free. Minus a star for not listing the status of BPA-free or not since I am planting edible plants in them. So cheers to these 3 very cute pots! They are sturdy enough for sure! Some pots I considered, even on QVC, had reviews that they were flimsy. These are not. Love the color. I got two of my plants repotted, mint and a fig cutting that finally rooted, only to find out that one of the water level indicators does not work~ major bummer! Minus a star for that. So I will reach out to the seller to see what can be done, so I don't have to shock and potentially kill my newly potted plants in order to return them. Maybe they can just send me a new indicator~that would be swell!

It's my second order of self-watering planter from this seller. I got blue colored ones, in a set of 3 back in spring, and just added a lime green one to my collection. Initially, I was looking for self-watering planters so I could feel worry-free when I travel. I knew that foam stones are essential for drainage, and was thrilled to find in a package with the planter. Once I repotted my plants into them, they really liked it, started to grow nicely. I planted regular house plants and succulents into these pots and they all did well. This latest pot I ordered, I thought would compliment colors of my blooming kalanchoe plant, which is a succulent plant. And now I'm planning to order more planters to add to my collection. It's a great value and quality.

I prefer the pots that have the water level indicator. These pots are just right for depth and width. The water level indicator goes up and down and doesn't get stuck like some of my other pots.

Design, color, sturdiness and concept are great, however... My poor chenille plant once vibrant in color and deep green foliage, is now dying regardless watering it with fertilizer. The coconut fiber has no nutrients and something in it that attracts and gives perfect housing to the tiny fungus gnats. They nest and multiply fast in the coconut fiber and occupy space above the water line between outer and inner pot. I tried so many different things to get rid of them but couldn't eliminate them. I changed the soil and replaced with a different type. It seems like different soil helped at first, but after a few days, gnats returned. They are loving the moisture and I still fight with them...

I like the sturdiness of the pot, and the water level indicator. Perfect for plants that are outdoors for the summer, or if you want a few days away. I didn’t use the coir discs included- I might hydrate them and mix them into my soil mix bin.

Was really happy wi5 these planters that I originally purchased in June or July 2022 and they were a reasonable price in the thirties. Came back to reorder as I need to repot/size up some other plants and the price is almost 3 times the cost. I could see about 10 to 15 percent due to inflation but around 3x the price is crazy.

One of the water gauge was missing along with the coir
