Lightweight easy to use
This is a lightweight mattress, easy to manipulate and maneuver. Comfortable on the " kiddie cot". I tried it out. The cat gives it all paws πΎ high review- he has made it his bed.

Excellent!
Worked perfectly to make a hanging daybed swing for my front porch. I felt like a twin size was too large so this was ideal! I made a cover for it so the pics are with the cover on. Mine was gray not cream.

Too small, not good for our needs but great if it is the size you're looking for.
Update: the mattress is nice and firm and comfortable and will be very comfortable for a cot or RV bed, but it is clearly not meant for a day bed or a trundle. My wife read the description and ordered it without taking measurements, and now we have a mattress to go on a cot that we don't have, or in an RV that we also don't have. There's nothing wrong with the mattress and if it was what i needed i would not hesitate to buy it again. Fortnight Bedding made all reasonable efforts to process a return for us, but as the initial review stated, it would cost me $89 for a box both big enough and strong enough to ship it back, because Fortnight paid for shipping but not for packaging. I saw no point in paying $89 to send back a $116 mattress, so we kept it. I don't have a vacuum sealer or bag big enough to compress it enough to fit in a smaller, cheaper box. In the end, it is more the customer's fault than the company's, and if the measurements fit your requirements, you shouldn't hesitate to buy from them...just measure first. Not wide enough for our trundle bed. We have a day bed w rolling trundle underneath and this isn't wide enough to cover the metal trundle frame. Our twin sheets don't even fit it--too big. I think we will end up returning this. My husband is pretty upset. We paid 116 bucks and this thing is tiny. We had to have a height of 6 inches to fit under the daybed, and since this is described as a trundle bed, I thought it was a standard size. Looks like we need a regular twin size mattress for our trundle. do not recommend. Especially for the high price. We saw others much cheaper. To make matters worse, went to return it and the box will cost $89 to return, bc the box they shipped it in is too small and cheaply made, and we can't compress the mattress well enough to fit it in. So we have to keep it and buy a whole other mattress to fit the trundle bed. Really upset w the way they described the mattress as being good for a daybed or trundle bed--there are none that this is likely to be a good fit for! It's a better fit for a crib than anything else.

Excellent mattress... if you sleep on your back
First off, a few details. I'm male, 5'10", about 195lbs. I'm using this mattress directly on a carpeted floor (remodeling the house, longterm project, custom-built bed frame will come later). I am using this mattress every night for sleep, not as an occasional sleeper/guest bed.I learned quickly that results with this mattress will vary. I am a stomach sleeper. I always have been. When I first slept on this mattress on my stomach, I found that my upper torso and my legs were comfortably supported, yet for some reason my waist sank right into the mattress, making for an uncomfortable arch in my spine. The discomfort was subtle, and after a short four hours of being able to sleep, I awoke with substantial discomfort in the small of my back. However, if I lay on my back on this mattress, I am perfectly supported. In fact, if I were a back sleeper, this mattress would be just about perfect. Seeing how trying to return this mattress would have been a nightmare, I decided to keep on using it anyway. It's better than the 2" memory foam futon mattress I've been sleeping on! After about a week, I discovered that the mattress started breaking in some. Sleeping on my stomach, I still get some discomfort in my spine upon waking up, but it's nowhere near as bad as it was originally. I've been trying to convince myself to sleep on my back more, but I tend to roll over onto my stomach while I sleep. So.I can't fault the mattress for being what it is. It is adequately described as medium-firm foam. In order to get a higher quality mattress that would support me, I would probably have to go back to a spring-type mattress or something. But this will work for now. And if it breaks in better over time, I'll try to update my review to let people know.Other observations: It's 72" long. If you count the extra fabric used to sew the seams, it is right about 74". But the foam is only 72". The packaging was simple, no paperwork inside. The bed arrived rolled up tight in plastic and it expanded to full dimensions in about 30 minutes. If I just sit up on the mattress, my bottom sinks right through it, but there's enough springiness to it that although my tailbone touches the floor, most of my weight is offset so there's no pressure on my tailbone. This mattress does have some level of memory, as I stated above. It's 'breaking in' and becoming more comfortable for me to sleep on. But I can see no evidence of it becoming permanently misshapen, and I do sit on this mattress for a few hours every day in the same spot, not just sleep on it. The fabric around the mattress is soft enough that I'd be able to sleep on it directly, but I use a sheet just to keep it from getting stained up. Overall, I'd say the quality is good. Well worth the price for what it is. And as I said above, if I were a back sleeper instead of a stomach sleeper, this mattress would be just about perfect.

Very specific use
Needed a firm, specific width, layer to go on top of a home sofa, making stretching out with a broken leg easy. arrived as desciribed. Great packaging - that when opened expanded to size and firmness expected. Best part was delivered less than 24hrs after ordering.

Alright mattress, but with 170lb I feel the bottom of bed even under 6" of foam!
I bought this cot for my RV van which had a 27" wide dinette cushion to sleep on. I made an extension with some wood, supported by a bracket, to make it the width this mattress is.When I slept on this mattress, I felt like a baby! Now, of course, this isn't a $1000 mattress.Instead I am comparing it to a 20+ year old foamy bench seat and of course it's a big upgrade. I am about 170lb and even though this mattress is 6", I could feel the bottom of my bed! I actually opened the cover and cut off a litle piece because this mattress was too long for my van. The foam I saw was just one layer of medium density foam, if I remember right, and nothing special at all. It was very easy to cut with a bread knife.I don't sleep often in my RV, so when I do, this mattress is great. But I wouldn't want to let my guests in my house sleep on this... Well, maybe my mother in law, so she would quickly decide to leave again.... It's fine for a few days for an adult. A child that weighs less would probably fare better with it. It was an okay buy, I suppose, for occasional use in a space that needed a custom mattress.
