This clock movement replaced an old non-working one and made a perfectly good clock useful again. The extra hands were used to repair another clock with broken hands. This fixed two problems at a good price.Just one hint: the hands are covered with a thin plastic wrap. It seems that it was put on to prevent it from being scratched up in transport. This almost invisible cover has to come off or the clock movement will not fit right.

This appears to be a very good clock movement so far. Used it to replace a 25+ year-old movement in a clock my dad made. Only complaint I have is that the hands that come with it are only suitable for larger clock faces. The original second hand had broken off of our clock, and I wanted to replace all of the original hands, but the hour and minute hands were far too long for the clock face. I was able to use one of the second hands that came with the new movement by shortening it sufficiently with wire cutters.

It works fine and installed OK, But the paint was peeling off the end of the second hand when I got it. The hand do easy bend, but that was expected.... tread gently. This is by no means a silent clock. It's not a load ticking, but it's not silent either. You can hear it and it's annoying if there are no noises in the room it's in. Also should have another rubber or other black washer for the front of the clock. I had to color the brass washer with a marker.

Low cost, simple fix for one of my favorite clocks.

I have an Italian porcelain wall clock that the motor stopped working ,so no time keeping.After looking at many choices on Amazon this motor kit was selected. It took my husband 10 minutes to replace the motor and attach the new hands. Clock is working and keeping good time.

Good value, I fixed my clock and have parts left to change the appearance if I want to.
