This two speed clipper really runs smooth and quiet. The dogs barely notice it running. We did have to let it cool down a couple of times doing a full cut on a doodle. My daughter is a hairdresser and she recommended these clippers as she prefers this brand over others she's tried.

Gets too hot fast. Returned once to get another, just to find out the second one was just as bad. Pulls my dogs hair and barely cuts. Do not waste your time. Want to return the second time but amazon did not offer a return. Now I am stuck with the horrible experience shaver.

Doesn’t not work well on our golden doodle. He has thick curly hair. I ended up selling these on fb market place and bought an Andis clipper. Much better for my dogs hair type. They might work well with other breeds and other hair types.Be sure to buy the cooking spray. These get very hot quickly.On a positive note they are well made. Very heavy duty. Easy to hold and use.

This is my 2nd one, the body got so hot and not easy to hold.

Great little clipper ,,, I had no problem clipping the mats out of my cat . It is important to clip right next to the skin. Clippers just can't cut through a mat... They are quiet and very smooth.. not big .. They do warm up because they are cutting nicely , just put some lube on the blades. I will use these on my long haired cat, Angora bunnies and my border collie .. And the horses..

I just opened these clippers to use for the first time. I. Issued my return window, however, these are u usable. The blade will not fit into the clipper properly, makes a clattering noise, and are unusable. I was replacing an older set of the same clipper that burned in a house fire. Very disappointing. I should have opened and tried them sooner.

works well, heat up after 10 minutes of use, but it does the job.
