The soap smells extra good. It carries a strong fragrance. I felt very satisfied with this purchase. The soap was worth it.

This soap is very moisturizing, has helped with my fine lines on my face, and crepe skin on arms. Smells nice, light scents, creamy. Love it. My Husband uses it also, and he has said has helped his skin on face and arms also.

The quality of the product is great, you can definitely notice the rustic look imperfect look that is reminiscent of a home made bar of soap. This is my first bar of soap from this maker and it was the Patchouli, which is described as an earthy musky aroma reminiscent of wet soil. I personally store my soap in a ziplock back in order to prevent the water from hitting it and causing it to dissolve rapidly. Now the first day I used the bar the smell was very mild, however on the second day of use I quickly notice that the scent was very strong, probably around 6 times as much as the first day (something that people with very sensitive noses should beware of) and oh musky it was! I don’t know how to put it but for a minute I thought my dog (who sleeps on my pile of dirty clothes when I shower) had some flatulence, because the scent caught me off guard. But I quickly noticed that as soon as I put the soap back in the ziplock and rinsed off the soap from my body the super strong smell dissipated. Now if you can bear through the strong smell as you shower then you’ll find that the strong smell doesn’t linger much and you’re left with your skin smelling mildly of soil. I personally think that this aroma was not for me but I don’t want to write a negative review as the soap delivered as promised, and the overall quality was outstanding. I definitely look forward to trying other scents as I was really impressed with this brand.

This soap is really pungent, and I didn't have to use a lot at a time. It made my skin feel really soft after showering. However, it was really strong and I was afraid to lather my face because of sensitive skin. I didn't want to burn my face with the soap since I get redness and sensitivity to my face. It is a decent soap for cleanliness and softness, but it is a little harsh and not much was needed at all to cleanse my skin. Not really recommended for sensitive skin, but it seems like it will last a long time because not much is needed. I wouldn't buy this again because of the strong smell and harshness, but I do really appreciate and enjoy how soft my skin becomes after using it. So I will use it in moderation.

I absolutely love this stuff, being all natural is really cool. Smells great, the bars seem to last a while as well. Easily better than Squatch at half the price.

Individually boxed bars (4) make great stocking stuffers for the guys. They smell great. Masculine fragrances are perfect for men. The Patchouli - often too strong - is lightly scented and not overwhelming at all. I think the Bay Rum is my favorite. Dont be afraid of the Pine Tar. It's black (!) and has oatmeal and charcoal, so it's slightly exfoliating and will take care of odor and itch! Also a great outdoor balsam fragrance, but light. Island citrus is a very light, pleasant and fresh scent. Sorry, cant comment on longevity. Will make a great gift.

10 days of using this soap, Bay Rum specifically. The bar is noticeably smaller but to my eye it's about 2/3 still left. Still has squared edges and corners... I have no idea what other users are doing to say it lasts a week. The scent is not as strong as when first taken from the box but I still smell it when showering and still smell it immediately when entering the room. It's not cologne, don't expect your post shower scent to arrive 3 feet ahead of you. Someone has to smell you to smell it. Pretty much ticks all the same "doesn't contain" and "does contain" boxes with the exception that this soap does use lye and not all do. If that is a problem then this is not the right product for you. I'm not experiencing any related skin issues. So far I have not found better at this price point. No issue with lathering using a Loofah. I've used other similar soap bars including Dr. Squatch. Unless there is a very specific scent you want these are about 60% the price for 33% more soap (one more bar of same size.) I have not tried the other 4 bars yet but I have smelled them and expect the same usage. Some reviews say "not manly" I honestly have no idea what that means... I don't really consider anything scented to be "manly." None of these are unpleasant smelling and certainly not "floral." The truth is if you smell like "Irish Spring" or Dove soap I still would not say you smell "manly."
