Relaxing Scent & Great Quality Lavender Oil
I’m really happy with this Majestic Pure Lavender Essential Oil. The scent is fresh, clean, and very calming without being overpowering. I’ve been using it in my diffuser at night, and it helps create a relaxing atmosphere before bed. The glass dropper makes it easy to control how much you use, and the bottle feels sturdy and well-made. A few drops go a long way, so it should last quite a while. Overall, great quality for the price. I would definitely purchase again and recommend it to anyone looking for a soothing lavender oil.

Great
Great. I like the scent. I use it when I am not feeling well and need just a boost in my day. That is saying something from a male gender.

I THINK it's an alright oil...
It's hard to tell with essential oils if you're getting a really pure, (flowers only in the case of lavender) uncontaminated or diluted oil because you are at the mercy of the growers, distillers, those who test (hopefully) and bottle the oils, THEN they have to be stored properly before they get to you. There is no governing body as of yet so there's lots of room for the oil to lose it's vitality and purity. That said, I bought this because Bulgaria is about the largest lavender producing country the world and I'd never tried it. The price was right which could be simply due to availability, OR for a less savory reason. I still can't tell! It's VERY different in aroma from the French (a sweet, simple aroma with a hint of green) that I have from a company I've dealt with before and kinda trust, and again VERY different from the South African lavender (a stronger sharper greener lavender scent and my favorite cuz it smells so clean!) which I get from Bulk Apothecary who I really pretty much trust. But Bulk Apothecary itself sells a bunch of lavenders from different countries and tries to describe the difference in aroma from each source so I EXPECTED it to be different. And it DOES smell pretty much like Bulk Apothecary's description of Bulgarian lavender, so that helps. I use my oils primarily for diffusing...except for lavender which I use for cuts and burns and bug bites etc as well as for aromatherapy. So I had a pretty bad case of razor burn on my legs and got this bottle out as well as my French and treated one leg with one lavender and the other with the other lavender. (Lavender is one of the few essential oils that is generally considered safe to use neat, undiluted, on your skin). I already KNEW that the south African would have worked nicely to kill the pain and speed healing so I wanted to see how these others from other manufacturers did. But I screwed up the test by grabbing another 4 ounce bottle with a very similar lable as this one for the leg that was probably the worst, it was rose geranium which is supposed to be good for skin in small diluted amounts! It burned like crazy used neat on my poor leg! Duh! So I wiped it off as gently as I could and THEN applied THIS Bulgarian lavender and it killed the pain almost as rapidly as the French had which all things considered was a pretty impressive feat as irritated as my leg was by then! :-) I've continued using the French on the other leg and it's already healed (two days...it was a stupid move and the razor burn was impressive...) So that's really good. The Bulgarian lavender leg THEN got a mosquito bite in the middle of the worst of the burn! (I wasn't keeping the oils constantly applied so that's not really saying that this doesn't repel mosquitoes as it should either) So after THAT I kept applying it every four hours or so to kill the itch from the healing burn AND the mosquito bite! It's been 5 days and my poor leg (if left untreated) quit itching and burning two days ago, tho it's still pink it feels fine. Not a bad job! Without the oils my legs would be bumpy and itchy, still in the healing phase. WITH the oils the burn skipped the dry scab-like phase altogether! So I'd say it's a safe and even healthy oil for skin care also, even used neat on a burn! Which is what lavender is supposed to be. I left off one star because I remain just a little bit leery of it's absolute purity because when I inhale it deeply I react as tho I'd sniffed something synthetic like a fragrance oil or perfume. After my year or two using ONLY essential oils as scents I'm extremely sensitive to such "aromas". And this could STILL be a healing oil even if it has been "stretched" at some point and really isn't entirely pure because the bulk of it IS, I humbly believe, pure lavender, and even diluted, lavender is a powerful healer! I even enjoy it diffused, but I generally blend my oils with other oils so I haven't diffused this alone to see if that note that seems "out of harmony" in there is noticeable when diffused alone. But then again, it could be just my sensitive nose. OR, I just don't like one of the notes in the more complex Bulgarian version of lavender! For the PRICE I don't see how you can go wrong unless you're planning on ingesting the oil or something really radical!

Potency decreases over time
Bought the lavender in October. It was great in the diffuser for the first 2 months. But i slowly started noticing the smell wasn't as strong and now I'm at the bottle of the bottle and I can barely notice a smell at all
