Roland Foods Pearled Italian Farro, Specialty Imported Food, 47.9 Ounce Bag, Pack of 1

We ordered farro risotto while out to dinner one night and loved it. Found this risotto and have been making our own version of the dish at home. This is very easy to cook and makes a delicious side for any meal.

This is delicious. Truly wonderful—chewy, nutty, satisfying. Whole family loves it. Just be aware that it’s pearled—basically removing many nutrients. It’s the “white bread” of farro but so so good.

At long last, I have found the grain that truly understands me. Roland Foods Italian Farro isn’t just a food—it’s a lifestyle. A perfectly tender, slightly al dente grain that makes you question why you ever settled for bland alternatives. Farro makes you feel like a better person. Toss it into a salad, and suddenly you’re a health-conscious icon. Add it to soup, and you’re a rustic, old-world chef. Serve it with roasted vegetables, and you’re basically a James Beard nominee. Yes, it’s a bit pricey. But can you really put a price on achieving your full gastronomic potential? I think not. Roland Foods Italian Farro: Because regular grains are for peasants.

I have purchased this farro brand several times now. The quality and taste is exceptional, and the price point beats the brands sold in my local grocery stores. I prefer farro over brown rice because of the hearty texture, and this does not disappoint.

Great product. Delicious flavor and perfect texture. But I highly recommend ordering it to be delivered by itself. When I've purchased just this item, it arrived in a perfectly sized small box and in excellent condition. When I bought it with other items, everything came together in one large box, causing the bag to break open and much of the product to spill out.

Use it for my two fur 4-legged babies—-it is fiber and add nutrients

We reordered these so we love the product. We include it in our rice pilaf to add additional nutrients and textures. I personally love the taste...:)
