25852236 Front Door Radio Speaker

This is the correct part for a 2008 Chevy Silverado and many other full size GM vehicles. Original part from 08 on the right and new part purchased in 2025 on the left. As you can see the parts and their corresponding numbers are identical. Installed as expected after removing the door paneling. These speakers are pretty fragile with paper construction, and are known to fail. I had a dead speaker on my driver's door and this went in and restored my audio.

I have a 2008 Chevy Silverado 2500 Duramax and one day on the way home from a trip to Utah the stereo in my truck sounded different. It sounded terrible. All I could hear were the tweeters on my pillars and my subwoofer. No mids. I traced it down and found that both door speakers no longer worked. I have an aftermarket Pioneer navi head unit and an amp powering two 10s. I was hoping my head unit wasn't failing but just for fun I googled "Silverado door speakers not working". That's when I realized that this is a well known problem with these trucks and failing door speakers. I threw around the idea of replacing my doors with something of higher quality but ended up just replacing them with these OEM speakers. For $30/ea, can't really go wrong if they last another 7 years. So I pulled the trigger. Received them in 2 days and installed both front left and right doors in less than an hour. It took me longer to find the right socket for the single screw holding the speaker in than it did to replace them. It did take a bit of prying to get the old speakers out (from the top of the speaker) but they eventually came free and the new ones slipped right in like a glove. I didn't take my door panels all the way off, just wedged a 1 foot 2x4 between the lower door panel and door itself to give me some room to replace them. Had everything buttoned back up and jammin again in about an hour, all for a fraction of what the stealership would have charged. Happy happy happy

Great speakers, easy to install

Searches on-line indicate that many people are not a fan of the genuine GM or AC Delco factory speakers that were put into the doors of the 2008 Chevy Silverado. I am not an audiophile. I don't blast the radio or CD player. I wanted to return the sound to the original quality and these speakers achieved that. Until I replaced these, I could no longer hear the door/seatbelt/key in ignition chime. These speakers returned those items. They were a direct fit and easy to install. That is also what I wanted. Aftermarket speakers need installation kits for mounting and wires might need to be spliced. Not these! "Plug and Play" as they say!

I have ordered 3 of these speakers and they are working well. However, I had to order the adapter cables from crutchfield (couldn't find them on Amazon) in order to install. But easy to install and work well.

We purchased this a while ago and still works great! Price was good. Sound quality is good. They look and work great.

Exact Fit A+

It was a perfect fit for my 2011 Malibu even though the site said it wasn't the correct part for my application. The recommended part looks identical in all all physically aspects but is listed at nearly 2x the cost. Definitely happy I trusted my instincts and took care of my problem without spending 2x the amount on an a practically identical part, specs and all.
