This product is made with all natural minerals. It enhances my coloring by bring out the natural color and complexion. It is easy to apply, and when on the skin looks natural. It doesn’t even look like you are wearing makeup, just clean and bright. My wrinkles are hidden without looking caked on my skin. The size of the jar is fine. It takes only a small amount to cover my face, and I don’t feel made up. I’ve been using this for years and plan to continue.

There’s several shades for “medium” so I tried the cooler shade as well as this one. . This one says it’s neutral but it’s a touch too yellow for my in between coloring.

I'd suggest getting color matched at an Ulta or the mall because the names of the colors have changed. I thought I could get away with a slight warm (03 I think) because its summer but it was way too yellow and I ended up just going with the lightest color available. I actually use less now that I've gone with the lighter color which is the point of using mineral foundation anyways. They DO NOT list their colors from lightest to darkest, there are variants between the cools, neutrals and warms that can be drastically darker even tho it's a lower number, or drastically lighter even tho it's a higher number. It'd be great if they sold the starter kits with 3 or so shades so you could take a guess and at least get one that matches without having to guess you're shade online. If you don't know your color ahead of time I strongly encourage you to get color matched in store until they have a more cohesive color line up. Other than that, this is the mineral makeup I have loved and used for over 15 years. I do have to touch up every few hours because I have oily skin, even tho I use acne medication. If I scratch or rub my face I just dab a little where it's missing and put another layer of mineral Veil on top. One of the big benefits of this makeup is that you can touch it up easily and flawlessly without having to take everything off and start over. If you sweat a lot or have very oily skin you know how big of a deal that is and is basically a make or break for me because most other foundations if I smudge it I basically have to take off my entire face of foundation and start over because there's no possible way to reapply or touch up one spot. Also if you go a shade lighter as opposed to darker and don't over apply you can really make it look like you're wearing nothing at all. If you feel like you have to use a lot more than instructed you probably aren't using the right shade. When I was using a shade that was slightly too yellow I felt like I have to use a ton, but once I found a better match I barely had to use any. I start around my eyes and nose and once I'm happy with the coverage there I blend it out work what's left on the brush. I've used tons of other foundations and this is still my favorite. It's also the only foundation that doesn't make me break out, even if I forget to wash it off.

I Love this foundation. I have extremely sensitive skin and eyes, I can only use powder foundation. I also have Rosacea. I used the Bare Minerals virtual shade selector and it was spot on! The closest match I have ever had. Usually foundation is too light or too yellow. This is perfect! The coverage is very good, and layerable. I am 66 years old and I have no trouble with it settling into fine lines or looking caked. It looks like me, just evened out.

As per description

I have always struggled with sensitive skin prone to break outs. Also, since I have very yellow undertones I have struggled to find a good hue foundation. This product is really good for my skin; I seem to have no problems with break outs while using this and also it seems to improve the texture of my skin. The only thing I don't love about it is that its easy to make a bit of a mess when applying it; getting powder on my clothes, wash basin, table or whatever is around. But that's my fault, not the product's ;)
