FranklinCovey 33963 Nappa Leather Ring Bound Organizer with Zipper, 5-1/2 inch x 8-1/2 inch, Black

I have used this daily for 4 months now. Clasps/rings stay tight, zipper functions well, and overall finish still looks new. It includes a sample of some Franklin Covey materials. Inside there are two pen/pencil loops, a place for papers and business cards on front, and a place to insert a small pad of paper in back. On the outside there is a pocket to slide papers into (it does not have any closure, zipper, or snap on this outside pocket, but papers stay put inside just fine). This holds the 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" 7-hole inserts. Some of the other Franklin Covey organizers feel nicer (leather quality), but this one seems very nice for the price (their lowest price leather, zipping option)

Previous owner and purchased this as a gift. The receiver is a professional requiring a compact organization for documenting and planning. This looks very good and the inserts provide organization and high degree of lasting documentation not subject to dead batteries and corrupted files.

The inside appears to be leather, but outside is nappa leather which is term generally used to describe a synthetic. That's why this binder has a strong chemical smell, characteristic of a synthetic material. Napa (one 'p') leather Is real leather that is treated to become soft.

Size was just right for me. Takes 5 1/2 X 8 1/2 sheets that I print from my Outlook Calendar, Notes or Tasks. Outside pocket is great for stuffing in notes that I want to access quickly.

Not as expected. Material does not feel like real leather; a rough feel to it. And stitching on the outside looks tacky! And it arrived inside a white box that was somewhat squashed so the shape of the planner is somewhat distorted. To be frank, this is probably one of the worst planners I have bought so far from Franklin Covery.

Very stylish, however, not as big as previous Covey planner.

I bought this as a gift for my husband as a replacement. It is exactly like the one he had before and he is very happy with it. There are lots of pockets for credit/business cards, and it's an excellent size for a daytime/calendar/note keeper.

The quality of the leather is very good. It easily accommodated my Monarch inserts. Decent product for the price !

Muy mala calidad, se nota piel sintetica y tiene ademas la alerta de california sobre productos cancerigenos. Que pena que no tengan la calidad de sus productos de hace 20 años. Por eso la regrese. En cuanto al servicio de Amazon excelente el proceso de regresar productos y reembolso a México. Ojalá esto sea una prueba que Mexico y Estados Unidos seguiremos intercambiando bienes a pesar de personas que piensan distinto.
