Spawn: Origins Book 4 Hardcover – Illustrated, September 27, 2011

25$ for a book people on eBay have been charging 200$+ for years now..but with this reprint and future reprints to come..they can all suck it. Spawn is a character that not only Todd McFarlane has taken granted of but a section of fans as well..when it comes to the back issues or variants that fans just buy right off the shelf and chuck them right on eBay.

I ordered this book for my fiance for a bday gift bc hes a huge spawn fan and hes wanted this book for awhile so i decided to buy it for him and hope the quality would be good. The estimated delivery date was between aug. 9 and aug. 16 but it arrived on august 1st! and in great shape and in all the packaging and everything. The book was beautiful and he loves it. He hasnt put it down since i gave it to him and we are both very happy.

Though I must admit I'm a bit dissapointed we didn't get to see Spawn's little battle in Heaven, all around it's a pretty good book. Spawn finally confronts Jason Wynn, the man who ordered the hit on him. One of the things I love about this series is that it really shows us the darker side of this world. Racists, parents who beat their children, corrupt cops, you name it.

The artwork is beautiful, the story is great. A must have for omnibus collectors.

Issues 38-50. Series is really getting into its stride, especially with Capullo taking a bigger and bigger role. Quality of the books themselves also seem to improve with each release!

Writing, pacing, and art are quite excellent. Tons of action and progress on the main story line.Of the first four Origins Hardcopy volumes, this is my favorite.
