PROSCAN Elite Portable CD Boombox with AM/FM Radio (Black)

This is exactly what I needed. It is small, portable and works great for me. I wanted something like this to be able to listen to my CDs

I purchased this a year ago and it's still going strong and I use it pretty much every day. I still have a lot of old-time CDs ... it's just so easy to pop into the cd player. I just needed something simple for a change. It's small and blends right in, not taking up much room. I have it plugged in, but you could also use batteries in make it portable. I originally bought it to help cover up some of my neighbor's noise. I live in a high-rise bldg., with a loud neighbor above me. The bass isn't booming, which is good, as I don't want to annoy my own next door neighbors. I got it for the purpose of trying to distract from the neighbor's noise & then discovered I just like listening to music all the time anyways. Is it the best sound quality? No, but you wouldn't expect it to be. But if you just want a good basic device that is simple to use & sounds pretty good for a low price, then I would recommend this small reliable CD player. The controls are in the back, so it's a little harder to get to them, but it's not a major deal. - Still working just as good - a year later - with constant use. - 5 stars. Recommended.

Sound quality not the best. But, it is an inexpensive buy, so no worries.

It seems to work just like it should sound quality is okay considering it's not a home stereo. But for the price it seems to be a good product I'm just using it for my Halloween decoration sound effects and it seems to work just fine

Ordered this cd player months ago. Received one and it didn't work. Returned and requested a new one and it still hasn't been sent. I can't cancel the order now because I can't get my money back since I asked for a replacement. Very disappointed.

This is my favorite boom box for the price. It is easy to use, very durable, the size is perfect to fit on a shelf and the CD player works great. I use it 5 days a week to listen to audiobooks while I work. The last one lasted over a year which I consider a win since they are reasonably priced. As long as they are making this, I will be buying.

I am beyond amazed at the outstanding performance of this cd player! I was astonished that such a rich sound could come from such a tiny unit. And I can compare because I have an expensive Bose Wave player which for some annoying reason will not play certain cd's. In the meantime I had been using an ancient but high quality mini-boombox that was finally getting unreliable. It was much bigger because of the speakers, and this wee unit is able to project the same or better great sound into a large living area. The brand is reliable, so I look forward to many years of happy listening!
