are the links are bent to meet or are they bonded together? My roof is 12ft and I want to join two links together.

I have two lengths joined together for my set up, so you will be fine. They are joined and when I connected the second length to the first I just cut and bent one of the loops. It is still holding but if someone yanked on the chain it may come apart where I connected it.

How do you install it if you don't have gutters?

This serves as a downspout for a gutter. If you don't have a gutter, you should normally not need this. But if you have rain water falling freely from a roof edge, and it is concentrated at one spot, you could attach this rain chain there to reduce the splattering.

Does this one attach to canales, the roof drains for flat roofs?

Only if the canales have holes in them to use the hanging hook or separately sold installation kit. If not, then this would require a custom solution, which some people have fashioned in the past.

can these be combined if you have more than 8.5 feet of drop? What is the maximum lentgh?

Great design, functional and well made !

The media could not be loaded. Beautiful functional and well designed. Had my gutter man install.. just a few issues: make sure you use the gutter adapter or you won’t be able to install, if you are directing chain into a container or pot make sure you have A drainage hole in bottom that you can attach the chain to with a copper wire. The gutter adapter will need sealing with silicone around the perimeter or water will direct around the down spot and spit an unattractive pattern of water. I used silicon to seal the areas inside the gutter where the base of adapter sits against the gutter. After 24 hrs I taped all around the perimeter ( inside gutter ) with Flex Tape! I also sealed the perimeter of down spout coming out of the gutter with clear silicon . It worked beautifully and I was then able to enjoy a beautiful stream of water down the center of the chain. It was a lil bit of work.. but imo worth it. Really love this chain !

Quality product

Great looking and heavy duty. Really easy to install but i just used a hook to hang it. Only issue is the cups are open at both ends meaning they don't fill and overflow. Not sure that matters but worth mentioning.

Beautiful Copper Rain Chain

The media could not be loaded. Nice thick copper, patinas nicely and does a good job guiding the water down. Of course being exposed in between tubes it is susceptible to wind blowing the water out but it still does a respectable job keeping most of it in. My wife was initially hesitant on getting one and now she wants more. So much better than a normal downspout

Beautiful but does'nt direct flow.

This looks really nice but it allows water to splash everywhere around the drop point. It doesn't really direct the flow .
