So far, So GOOD!
So I read mixed reviews on this battery but for 50% of the cost of the original battery I thought I would take a chance. And, So far, So GOOD!. I bought it to use in my Yaesu FT-3DR and have nothing bad to say about it. Under normal use (which for me is mainly monitoring) I am getting 12 -13 hours to a charge. Thats more than enough time for my factory battery to recharge which is what I was looking for. It is a bit lighter in weight than the factory battery and the belt clip is a different design but I don't use the belt clips often so that's ok. It fits the radio fine, it fits the charger fine but a bit tighter than the factory battery and it's running 12-13 hrs. WIN, WIN, WIN in my book.Glad I got it.

Yaesu Extra Battery
The battery fits my FT3 just fine and lasts as long as the factory battery. It also charges in the same amount of time as the factory. It ships with a belt clip, but it isn't spring loaded which is a disadvantage over the factory battery.

Great battery at a great price!
I bought this battery as an extra battery. The Yaesu battery is too expensive. This replacement battery is exactly like the Yaesu battery. Its made in China like the the Yaesu original battery. It fits my Yaesu FT3D like it should. It last as long as the Yaesu battery. It does not get hot while recharging. I would buy this battery again!

Better than the factory,,, so far.
Yes, its considerably less expensive than Yaesu's. It even fits more securly than Yaesu's. Let's just see how long it lasts.

Does not work with Yaesu drop-in charger
Does not work with Yaesu OEM drop-in charger. The contacts appear to line up, but when inserted into the genuine Yaesu charger, nothing happens. The only way to charge this battery is to attach it to the radio and plug in the radio, wholly defeating the purpose of having a drop-in charger.

Battery Capacity Not As Stated
This battery is rated for 2200MaH which is 200 MaH more that my original after market battery. After several charge / discharge cycles, this new battery only delivers about 75% run time when compared to my 3 year old 2000 MaH batteries from a different manufacturer. Definitely over rated capacity. Also, the supplied belt clip is not spring type, but cheap plastic hinge. Does not open far enough to easily remove the radio from a belt, and appears to be expected to break easily.Over all a cheap version and one needs to know this when considering purchasing it for the money asked.

Large capacity, great quality.
Great product. Just as good as the Yaesu original equipment. Holds a charge, and if anything it charges a little faster than the original. But that means it still takes 7 hours or more for a full charge from empty. That is not a surprise with the battery's large capacity.
