I use this to secure my 6pack lunch bag. My commute is about 45 minutes, and my bag doesn't move.

They definitely serve a purpose, however, they can not be sinched down tight and when I am riding on the interstate it gets loose so I still need more tie-downs to feel secure. I would not buy them again.

Bought these for the backpack I purchased to use on my motorcycle changed routes and used these to help hold my camping gear to my bike

I just took a long, motorcycle trip and I used these straps daily for holding down my camping equipment. I was surprised at how well the clasps and buckles are constructed and how convenient using them made my trip rather than having to constantly tie and untie things - just buckle them on. It was great.

Used this item to attach a small bag to the back of my bike. Item broke during normal riding down the highway. It looks like the small hinge pin failed. My advice is to not use these for anything related to safety or to secure anything of real value.

Used these straps to tie down backpacks and bedroll to motorcycle. They work great, and they have been on several trips. The trips were over 100 miles one way and 70 miles per hour most of the way. These are easy to use and don't let stuff shift around, as long as the human gets them tight enough :)

Worked as described but metal cends damage sissy bar paint. And you can’t tension them after installed only remove and readjust. Basic 1 inch tension straps from husky is what I ended up with
