Good quality
Came in good condition bubble wrapped everywhere to prevent scratches, helmet weighs around 8-10 pounds VERY heavy but a very good replica. Good for airsoft events although bit shaky, it’s very nice having it around. Looked around for other prices on other websites, so far this is the cheapest and good quality I could find

Aliexpress rebranded
Aliexpress dropshipped, delivered not even through amazon but some asian delivery company. Its marked up about $50 from aliexpress but the ali express helmets are cheaper and probably shipped the same way. The helmet itself is okay just okay. The visor is heavier than the helmet so i wouldn’t recommend even wearing it with the visor. and if you are buying it to have the visor look don’t buy this one. Helmet liner is cheap, Balaclava or replacement needed to be comfortable. I have a size 59cm head and it’s still loose. Chinstrap will secure the helmet but there is still wobble. Chinstrap is comfortable. I’d say the best thing this has over other repros is that if you are going for a visorless look it is lightweight so your neck won’t hurt. but if you wear the visor be prepared to hate every second of wearing it.

Great Item only one down side
The Helmet itself is great. Nice padding inside and can take a beating without feeling anything. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is the face shield portion is not attached very well. I use this for my Russian gear for Airsoft and in the middle of playing the face shield will sometimes pop out of the socket and fall off the helmet. I understand that the helmet is made this way so the face shield is removable if wanted but it is generally too loose. This is very bad as it brings the fun to a screeching halt as you could get shot in the face with multiple bbs if not careful. The face shield also when not in use and (locked into place) above the helmet is not secure at all and will easily fall down by simple actions as just tilting your head down.

Pretty nice
Got this for a airsoft kit and I can say it holds up pretty well didn’t crack when shot has great visibility did fog up a little as expected but nothing a fog wipe couldn’t handle

Khrushchev would be proud
Big and heavy, just like I was hoping, really gives me the feeling that I'm wearing a Soviet-era titanium helmet even though it's not real. Love it.

So first thing Ill say is if you want a better replica, then youre looking at paying about $400 cad. This being half the price of your average replica Altyn, its solid. Not fantastic but solid. So the first thing I noticed upon removing this from the box is it had alot of scratches on it. At some point during shipping the face plate (which is removable just like the real thing) had come off and scratched the hell out of the surface of the helmet. A better way to package this item would be to remove and wrap the faceplate seperately to help avoid this. But for me personally Ill be using a camouflage cover so it doesnt bother me that much. The helmet is quite loose and the adjustments dont help that much. If you have a small head I wouldnt recommend this item. However having a large head like myself, the shake is tolerable without the faceplate, with the face plate it will be a pain during airsoft games. Once again I dont intend to use the face plate so for my purposes it will be okay. The liner is comprised of a styroform inner helmet that rests the shell ontop of your head, its comfortable enough but it doesnt have much give so it can feel a little stiff, its also only secured with some cheap and poorly glued on velcro patches which i wouldnt expect to last. Theres also a neoprene like band along the edge of the shell to keep your ears from getting pinched or bashed, works well enough although there is a longer screw on the right side which may poke your ear if you trip while wearing the helmet or otherwise take a blow to that side of your head Helmet adjustment seems to rely soley on the chinstrap, a fairly cheep feeling nylon band that goes from the back of your head, screws in at the temples and then draws down to your chin. There are two straps to cinch up at the back of your head and at your left cheek. All this really does is push the helmet tighter downwards onto your head but does not adjust noticeably to the circumference of your head. The chin strap tends to loosen with some movement but i managed to loop the strap through a 2 slot plastic buckle in a way that makes it a little tighter but harder to adjust. It works but once again there will be alot of shake. The shell feels and looks nice despite the scratches. Its cool to the touch like steel despite being made of fiberglass, the faceplate is made of steel and feels quite sturdy. The radio plugins ( the littles modules on the left side and back) are also made of steel but do not include the radio system. Im not familiar with the real thing but its possible they could house the actual headset made for Altyns, no guarantee though. ( the left module is for a push to talk button, the rear is a plugin for the radio. It requires a specific headset on the inside and a microphone which sticks out of the right side of the helmet. There is actually already a hole for this microphone drilled into the helmet). Overall the helmet brought a smile to my face when I first opened the box and picked the helmet up, it feels and looks nice when youre holding it and putting it on display. And Im certainly satisfied with what Ive found. I recomend this item if you wear an L size hat and need a helmet to complete your airsoft garb. But absolutely do not buy if you wear a size S hat. Size M will require a tolerant attitude. There is a good selection of helmet covers on the market ranging from KLMK white leaf to Partizan SS-Leto and many others which should make this helmet look just like the real K 6-3 Altyn ( and cover the scratches) Considering the price, i would give this 3.5 stars. Update april 28 2019: Used the helmet for the first time today in an airsoft game, i took off the visor after three minutes as it was completely a burden that kept pushing the helmet over my eyes. Following that I ditched the helmet after one round, its poor quality liner and chin strap make it completely impractical for use in airsoft. Its constantly pushing forward and obscuring your vision and just isnt worth it. Im going to try replacing the liner with a foam one meant for a mich 2001 or ach helmet and will further update on the results. June 25th 2019 update I used the helmet again after replacing the liner with a cheap off brand ACH one. While it looks jank it did eliminate most of the shake while moving and turning my head, its still not particularly comfortable but thats to be expected of a 12 dollar helmet liner. With the new liner the helmet became much more practical, however the faceshield is still a complete no go. Without the original style of liner this helmet is completely unusable with the shield on. But If youre okay without the faceshield, and willing to replace the liner with ACH or equivelent style pads, its a fun and interesting piece of garb. Ill leave this review at 2 stars, as I had to modify and remove parts of this helmet for it to be comfortable.
