Great boots, Classic Style, Great Comfort
These are great boots. The only reason that I didn't give it 5 stars was because of the somewhat weird sizing and some sloppy stitching. I love Corcoran. They make a great boot, and I love the style. These are the classic Corcoran II style in a desert boot. The first thing I normally do when I get a new set of boots is tear the insole out and replace it with a quality one (Sofsole or Superfeet); WIth these, I didn't have to. The soles are soft and flexible, the insole provides decent support. The sizing is a little weird though. I know that most boots vary in sizing a little, but these seem narrow and long. I have a very fat foot, and normally need a wide boot. The Corcoran EEs are about as wide as a D/Normal width in most other boots. With the leather ones, this was not an issue because the leather will stretch and conform to your foot after it breaks in. With the synthetic sides, these do not stretch as much as the leather and are a bit restrictive. Additionally, there was some sloppy, overlapping, crooked stitching right in the middle of the top-stitch on toecap. You couldn't find a more noticeable place to screw up the stitching. I've had several pair of the black leather ones, and have never seen anything less than perfect in the decorative stitching on the toecap. That aside, I love these boots. They're well built, tough and look great.

Great boots.
I'm not that great at writing reviews, so you'll have to forgive me. I wore them on a 4 day rough camping trip in June. We hiked a couple of miles through rocky hills with back packs while it was raining. The boots had great traction on the rough terrain and were very comfortable. I wore them all day every day hiking and walking through water. They did well in the water until it got past my ankles, but I think some water repellent will fix that. They also breathe really well and dry pretty quick even though I wore them the rest of the day with wet socks. No blisters. All in all a very comfortable and durable boot. They are a warm weather boot, so heavy socks will be needed in cold weather.

The boots fit, but within a week of wearing ...
The boots fit, but within a week of wearing them a section of fabric about an inch and a quarter pulled loose from the sole, as this is the only issue with the boots I hope it is just a one off error and won't start happening elsewhere with them.

Simply the best
Corcoran makes the best boots by far. Been wearing their boots since I left the military and have my first pair of jump boots from the 1980"s that just wore out. If you want a durable boot buy this brand, you will get your moneys worth and more.

Love these boots.
I have had a few of these Corcoran's but they were in sage green. I knew they ran slim but the length was still good. I ordered wide to overcome the "run small" factor. I love my sage boots and I'm very pleased with these so far.

Disappointed repeat customer.
Fit as expected. Wore a pair of these in the military and was really happy with the comfort. For whatever reason there quality has gone down hill. This pair started to come apart almost immediately. The stitches around the toe was the first to go. Next was the foam in soles started to fall apart. Very disappointed.

Currahee!
These are great boots, and I have gotten quite a few compliments. I wear them daily and when I ride to work on my motorcycle. The soles have a good amount of grip, and they don't slip on the pavement. Get a shifter cover if you ride, because the shifter will mark them up almost instantly.
